Yeah that was released a few days ago. The Vudu app still hasn't updated for me. Still lists 6.0.0. Still waiting for the one that was released on 12/14 to download to my TV.

What about the 2015 Sony Android TVs? Many of the 2016 models have the same hardware as the 2015 models.

Sorry, I got my releases confused. 1154 was released a few days ago and I see I just got 1155.

Still no updated on the Vudu app that claims to be updated on the site. Might have to just get a Roku at this point if I want UHD.

Is it listed on the very first page? Your answer is there.

While VUDU (like most companies) doesn't generally pre-announce specific release dates of new features, we understand that with 4K many people may want to make purchasing decisions based on device support. We are very close to releasing UHD streaming on several devices - including 2016 Samsung TVs - but since it often depends on device firmware fixes it's not entirely in our hands. Similarly, we definitely will be supporting HDR10 on capable devices. I can't give any specific timelines, but less than a year is pretty safe
I understand you are communicating as much as you can. Can we expect the PS4 Pro to be part of this push with HDR10 devices? Also, a year is a long time with the speed that technology is moving, but I understand the development process takes time. Thanks for providing visibility for us.

are 2015 LG UHD tvs still supported? I was able to watch UHD video streams (Warcraft and StarTrek) just fine before todays outage. I added a few new titles that were UHD (Suicide Squad is one), and the app on my LG tells me I own UHD, but doesn't give me the option to view anything higher than HDX!

Hoping that's a temporary thing while services are fully restored, but as the list is specific to 2016 LGs, and not last year's lg 55ub8500-ua... just wanted to seek some clarity on my expectations...

Hi, someone please tell me if the Xbox One S will playback Dolby Atmos thru Vudu or not? I've read somewhere that it won't. I just need to confirm it won't or not before I make a mistake buying it. Thanks

You may want to post this separately. This thread is about UHD (4K) videos on devices.

The PS4 Pro is a 4K device. It's also yet another 4K device without a 4K Vudu app.

If and when Microsoft supports it for streaming Windows 10/UWP apps VUDU will as well. It looks promising...

                            Guys,

To confirm will Samsung TV's support Dolby Atmos for the Vudu App? Will I need to use ARC or will optical be able to support this?

Trying to figure out a way to get ATMOS using VUDU since the Xbox one S still doesnt support it.

                            Cheers!

Again, just updated my 2016 4k Samsung TV with firmware to 1160 and no Vudu UHD. It's coming up on a month since UHD on Vudu was suppose to be "soon" on Samsung TVs. The app on TV is still the same and there are no app updates on the Samsung servers. I haven't bought any videos on Vudu because waiting for 4k streaming. Are we getting near?

There are still blocker firmware issues that Samsung needs to fix; the VUDU app is ready to go and of course we want to release it ASAP. Sorry, I can't estimate any specific date at this point since it's out of our control...
