I would like my Sony 4K UHD HDR tv to be added to the supported devices, please. The model is Sony XBR49X800D. Thank you!

Are there certain titles that are not eligible to be streamed in UHD via Chromecast Ultra? For example, I own the following recently-released UHD titles:
      • Dunkirk
      • Inception
      • It (2017)
      • The Lego Ninjago Movie
      • The Mummy (2017)
No matter what device I cast from (iPhone, iPad, Chrome via Windows laptop), all of these titles will only stream in HDX on my CC Ultra. I am 100% positive I own them all in UHD quality. All of my older UHD titles seem to play in UHD on CC Ultra just fine. It seems like it's only these very recent UHD releases that refuse to play in UHD on the CC Ultra. There certainly might be more that don't work, but this is what I've noticed so far.

Am I doing something wrong? Or is there another reason why these titles won't play in UHD on Chromecast Ultra?

Will you be adding the Philip?s 4K TV?s? I have a 5000 series and currently can?t watch the movies I bought in UHD

You are not doing anything wrong. I have the same issue. I use the CC U without fail except with these new titles.

WTH is going on with Vudus quality control?

Not sure what's going on with Vudu lately. Between this Chromecast issue and a buggy/non-functioning Vudu app on my LG TV, Vudu has become practically unusable for me. Thank God for Movies Anywhere so I can at least watch the majority of my UHD titles on Apple TV.

I had an issue with some of my movies not showing up and Movies Anywhere took care of the problem right away. They are impressive.

Can we get a straight answer on when Vudu will update it's app on the Sony 4K TVs to allow for Dolby Vision and HDR10 playback? Sony has announced the Dolby Vision firmware update for January.

I have a Samsung UN60JS7000 and Netflix allows UHD and HDR streaming. When will VUDU offer UHD for my TV?

I fully agree,I have the Sony XBR- A1E and Sony announced a new firmware coming in a couple of weeks for Dolby Vision and It would be nice if Vudu updated the app on the Sony TV's to take advantage of UHD 4K DV/HDR.

I have a Nvidia Shield and the most recent movies I purchased "IT" and today I purchased "Blade Runner 2049" in UHD and I to can only play them back in bed. To further irritate me I have had a support ticket open for a week with no response. This is unacceptable for how big Vudu is getting. Vudu has to fix this right away.

We intend to have 4K DV and HDR10 support on Sony TVs. Once we do, purchase and playback will be available through our native Android TV app which is currently available in the Google Play store but only formally enabled for access on Nvidia Shield and Xiaomi Mibox.

So UHD playback in VIDU is available on the MIi Box?

I'm a bit confused...can you elaborate a bit more on what you mean by "

Also ,will the updated Sony Vudu app with DV/HDR be available about the time of the new Sony DV firmware in a few weeks?

I also own the 65" A1E and have the same questions. I'll have to Google Nvidia Shield and Xiaomi Mibox as I'm not familiar with either. Hope our TVs use these, "features?"

I hope this doesn't mean that the Vudu app on the TV itself won't allow for 4K DV & HDR playback. I bought a Smart TV so I wouldn't need to connect anything to it.

Still no UHD support on the new Vudu UHD titles via the Chromecast Ultra. It's been over a week.
