UHD cannot be streamed from a PC. You used to be able to about a year ago but hasn't been the same since then.

is Vudu going to support 4k HDR on the New Google Chromecast Ultra w/ Google TV that released today? the app installs but movies only play in HDX. Disappointing.

Same question. We'll need Dolby Vision/Atmos support for it.

I highly doubt they are going to even bother working with Vudu or vice versa because the whole Google TV overlay appears to be designed to work with Google Movies and such. If everyone used VUDU instead it would take away from what Google is trying to do. IMHO.

Huh? Google works with third parties very well including direct competitors like Amazon. I'm sure the relationship between Vudu and Google is fine.

Plus they already said in another thread they are working on it.

The OP says it was last updated in 2018. Is there an up-to-date list somewhere?

No, because they aren't doing that anymore. All they are doing now is basic support for what had already been added, and keeping up with new devices that are coming out. There won't be any more old product added.

I think the list should be kept up to date. For example, they just announced yesterday Dolby Vision / Atmos support for VUDU app on the new xbox. That's a big deal ! Also, Vudu points to that list as the definitive list of supported devices, so to have it incomplete and no updates for 2 years is a bit slack.

I have the older Xbox and DV and Atmos were already supported with Vudu UHD titles so that's nothing new.

                          495 UHD
                          774 HDX
                          5 SD

But the new xbox is.... new! so it should certainly be added to the list.

When you open a ticket with Vudu support, they will point at this thread, to that list, as the definitive list of what they support on which devices. Again, TWO YEARS? Slack.

Since Fandango owns Vudu for the past 8 months or so, does anyone know if Vudu will support IMAX ENHANCED?

It seems they are keeping both companies completely separate. Don't know why?
