I believe JU is a 2015 TV model? It's unlikely 2015 Samsung TVs will ever get Vudu UHD support as AFAIK Samsung has stopped providing firmware updates to them.

I can't think of them all but we're still waiting on Guardians of the Galaxy 2, Transformers: Last Knight, Ghost in a Shell, and Thor: Ragnarok to name a few for Sony and Apple TV 4K.
      GitS has Dolby Vision.
      GotG 2 has Dolby Vision.
Thor: Ragnarok has Dolby Vision and HDR10
      Transformers: LK has Dolby Vision

They took down DV profile 4 and have been waiting for the profile 5 so one plays in hdr10 and the other just standard4k.

i guess I should have been more specific. They are all not on the 2017 Sony TVs and Apple TV 4k.

These Dolby Vision titles don?t play with DV on my 2018 Vizio P series: La La Land, Ender?s Game, Arrival.

Given the number of frustrated Samsung J- and K- series owners who can't watch in UHD, I probably know the answer but will ask anyway: Will my (2014) Samsung UN65HU8550 ever be supported? Jake's response to rdawg was "It's unlikely 2015 Samsung TVs will ever get Vudu UHD support as AFAIK Samsung has stopped providing firmware updates to them." However, my set received a firmware update on February 28, 2018, to v. 1230, so some updates are still being pushed out by Samsung. Any thoughts/comments?

In 2015, Samsung released the One Connect Evolution Kit (SEK3500U). It allows owners of HU9000, HU8700, and HU8550 to output HDR. I have the 2014 HU9000 and, after upgrading to the Evolution Kit, can now play UHD movies on my Roku stick's Vudu app.

On your first post, the compatible device list update was last updated 5/19/2018, yet I notice that the Samsung KS is now listed as playing both 4k and HDR. Has your list been recently updated? Are the KS capable of playing both?

Jake, do you think Google will ever update their Chromecast Ultra to the newest DV profile? My chromecast ultra still can't play Vudu DV or even netflix properly. I'm still confused why they wouldn't update their DV profile, especially since XBOX is getting it on the One and the X

Which titles are you referring to and which device are you casting from? I've been able to play all of the 4k DV titles I've casted but I'm casting from a Windows 10 laptop.
