What TV are you using with the CCU? We have been working with Google to resolve issues and AFAIK the Dolby Vision capable TCL Roku TVs, LG TVs, and Vizio TVs are working. I'm not sure about Sony - if I remember Sony TVs may have some Dolby Vision compatibility issues on HDMI.

I can confirm that Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos from the CCU are working with 2016 LG OLEDs through an AVR.

I'm using a sony x930e(2017 sony dolby vision tv). Well, Apple TV 4k and Sony x700 work with dolby vision(especially in Vudu). Is there a possibility that Google will update CCU to the newest DV profile? I was hoping to cast Vudu DV on the CCU. This is still not possible.

I'm using a sony x930e and casting from my pixel 2 xl and google chrome browser. Do you have a sony tv? I'm thinking Google still hasn't come up with a way to update their current DV profile for sony tvs. Worst of all, I can't use my google home mini to play netflix stuff with my voice. Disappointing to say the least.

Yes, that's why you can play them. The DV profile is outdated, and vizio uses the older DV profiles. I'm talking about sony DV.

                    Hello Vudu Support,

I have a 2016 75' 850D tv that has a built in Vudu app but it is not available in the play store. I am able to purchase UHD movies in the app but it won't play UHD movies. It will only play HDX. How or when will my tv be updated to the latest version of the app?

                    My current version is 3.1.1

Your tv in to OLD for a VUDU update for UHD content. Either purchase a external device or a newer TV...preferably a 2019 model when released, they will be supported for a couple years thereafter.
