The vudu support line said to come on here and post the device I need supported. Is this the right place? If so I need PS4 Pro. And 4K Samsung NU6900 smart t.v. supported.

Would be odd in that they support the earlier X700 and not the newer X800.

If you are talking about the Sony UHD Player the X700 is the new model and the X800 is the old model.

I haven't checked this in a while but noticed they skipped right over the samsung UBD8500 BR even though I inquired 2 years ago. Same thing on the JS800F 4k tv. Did it really take them so long to get UHD on on Samsung these are no longer devices to consider. Funny since Vudu is preinstalled on Samsung devices.

I read somewhere here that the UBD-K8500 will not get 4K support something about the wrong platform so if that's what you have, were both out of luck on that. And yes it has taken them quite a while to add new some devices.

I think it would be safe to say any devices from 2016 or earlier that are not already supported by now will not be. Doing so requires the manufacturer to update firmware and that's very unlikely.

Now windows 10 PC,s have not checked it out yet. Which is the latest version of the app? I have 1.1.65.0. Want to know if I'm ready before I drag the PC into the TV room. Wow Couldn't watch UHD but on one device now I have three. Good Job guys.

GP just updated its TV app to allow for 4K HDR playback on nearly all 4K compatible Samsung sets. This leaves VUDU as the only streaming service TV app not providing UHD content to '15 & '16 sets. C'mon update the app already!!!

2016 Samsungs should be supported now that Samsung updated firmware. 2015 will not be supported.

I have the JS9000 which I think is 2015 so it's not going to be supported.

I have a Sony UBP-X800 which apparently isn't compatible with 4k streaming, but the Sony UBP-700 is? Why isn't there more models of Sony Bluray players on this list. Does this mean that I have to downgrade my blu-ray player in order to stream my 4k content?
