I imagine it isnt very simple to integrate both sites. Just to make the specific decisions of what and how things needs to be done I imagine could take 2 months if not more.

I have a Phillips smart tv that clearly says on the front that it is 4K but it won’t play my purchased movies ...

Philip's 43pfl5604/f7 only shows SD quality in the built-in app. I can still cast UHD from my android phone though as a temporary workaround. Also, side note, the movies anywhere app can do HDX but not UHD.

UHD capabilities is all dependent on the relationship between the app developer and the manufacturers support. If the manufacturer does not wish to support UHD on the apps on their platform, there not much Vudu can do. If a device is UHD 4k capable, it does not guarantee that every app that can support UHD will be UHD on said device.

Thank you Felipe. I know that I can work around my issue for now. You would think that a TV whose remote features a dedicated Vudu button would want to showcase their 4K capabilities by keeping their app up to date. Maybe I should blame Google because it's a chromecast android TV.

4k mobile streaming on Vudu is not available at the moment. Hopefully its something that can be implemented in the future.

I know it's a bit late but this may help @a.hope.griff

Checked on this and heard there was recently a new Philips TV firmware update (like yesterday?) and Vudu app update that should resolve this.

Will see support for the newer HDR 10 + standard (open source) on Vudu anytime soon? Amazon has moved all its movies to support it.

                              531 UHD
                              762 HDX

They took away the IMAX ENHANCED format. "Spiderman Homecoming" no longer has the expanded ratio Imax scenes. I owned 31 IMAX ENHANCED titles on Fandango Now and they are now gone. This is not right.

If you buy the top resolution can you watch the lower definition on devices that don't have the higher resolution or do you have to buy both versions?
