Monty Python: Holy Grail Doesn't Play

I'm not able to play Monty Python: Holy Grail in my Vudu library. I redeemed it via UltraViolet. I realize the movie is no longer available to buy or search within Vudu. However, it still shows in my UV library.

Is anyone else able to play this movie?

dunnvudu: on which device(s) does it no longer show up? Does it show up on the website when you log in? What do you see if you click on this link (make sure you're logged in)? And where in the interface are you looking for it, under My Movies? If so, please go into Filters and make sure they're all off.

Mine still works. It's a little unclear where you're having your problem. Can you find it in your collection but the Watch button is missing? The Watch button is there but it won't actually play?

Thanks for the response. I am able to play it on my computer when using that link. However, it only plays in SD. I'm not able to play the movie in HDX. It doesn't say this title is only available in SD on a computer. I also tried on my Xbox One and it doesn't play in HDX. However, it will play in SD as well.

OK, that's helpful. I'm seeing the same thing you are via web browser, but it's not uncommon for content to only be available in SD via computer, so maybe it's just that the warning graphic is missing. I'll try to play it on a Roku when I get home, see what happens then.

Re: Monty Python: Holy Grail Doesn't Play

This could be an audio encode issue, the same reason some movies don't show at all on the Roku. They are definitely different audio encodes, even though the "Info" tab doesn't display that information for some reason. The HD/HDX encodes play in 5.1 on my Roku (the most my system is capable of, they're probably DD+), and the SD encode plays in 2.0.

EDIT: In case it wasn't obvious, all three encodes play on my Roku 3.

Thanks for checking. I checked last night and I was able to play the movie on my Roku 3 as well.
