I see it has changed to UHD for me because I already owned it in UHD on iTunes. Now my question for Vudu is: When filtering for Recently Added UHD movies, WHY isn't Black Hawk Down shown at the very top since it was just added in UHD??? The filtering/sorting is so messed up! I sure wish Vudu would improve this. Okay, that is my rant for the day.

FelipeF Can Vudu get this fixed so it ports UHD to UV locker? Thank you.

This is up to the studios, not Vudu.

This is the first time I've seen a Sony title port HD to UV locker from a UHD purchase/code redemption. Did Sony make a studio-wide policy change starting with this title? Thanks FelipeF

THE OTHER GUYS, also a Sony title - and added the same day as BLACK HAWK DOWN - gives UHD UV redemption.
Please ask the studio why they hate their 4K customers? I can think of no other Sony 4K title that gives HD UV redemption at Vudu.

Something smells funny here. I'm almost certain that if someone reached out to Sony about this issue they would allow for UHD UV code redemption rights. If I'm not mistaken, up until now Sony has not once intentionally kept a film available in UHD at Vudu from yielding that same exact quality at Ultraviolet after a purchase or redemption. As another member mentioned earlier, The Other Guys went UHD at Vudu within the past couple of weeks and it yields UHD UV rights upon purchase. As of now, Sony clearly continues to have no issue with UHD UV rights being awarded when it comes to their film library.

Has anyone at VUDU reached out directly to Sony to inquire about why UHD UV rights for Black Hawk Down are not being granted for UHD code redemptions or purchases? I really don't believe it is Sony's intention to keep UHD UV rights from being awarded. They have never done anything like this before, which tells you that something isn't right about how UV rights are being awarded in this specific instance.

All of this is common sense, but rehashing it again and again is getting old.
