I've tried them all and I've found that the 4K quality using the Apple TV app on the Apple TV 4K device is the best. I don't know why, but I just know what I see.

There are so many variables that can affect picture quality it can be difficult trying to determine who has the best stuff and why, and just when I think I am ready to pick one, the next movie comes along and who I had thought was the best didn't do so well with the next movie. I was a late adopter to the Apple TV and my first Apple TV was about 11 months ago and I have been playing catch up ever since, but I like the Apple 4K TV as well. Their picture quality is really good. I travel quite a bit and I have found using my library from Vudu is really easy while on the road and has been dependable. One thing I have discovered is one movie Apple TV will look the best, the next movie Vudu will, and even the next movie Movies Anywhere will, so it pays to maintain more than one library so it gives you that option to compare them if you have the time and interest. I am a strong supporter of Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos, and while most here have been talking about picture quality, audio is just as important in the overall picture (huh..what?).....well, it's late and I've just finished off the remainder of the Thanksgiving meal and I am in dressing overload!

Yes, I agree that the quality of each movie can be different on the different services. I am a big supporter of Dolby Vision and Atmos as well, and thankfully the Apple TV 4K supports that very well. Audio is crucial, especially the movies with great sound effects. Now, back to eating all that Thanksgiving leftovers!
