    Re: Missing Movies

    Hi folks,

Today we tracked down a bug in the February 22 update of the UltraViolet Coordinator. It only affects users with Libraries over a certain size (500+ in the case of Vudu, 1000+ in the case of most other UV retailers) who have performed one or more merges. The bug causes some rights to not be reported to the retailer. Rest assured that all your movies and TV shows are still there, but Vudu (and others) may not see all of them. The omissions are random, so, as some of you have discovered, if you add a new right it causes a refresh at Vudu that may make some rights reappear and others disappear.

We hope to have this fixed early next week, if not sooner. We're very sorry about the inconvenience.

        Re: Missing Movies

Here's an interesting one. I have 1,182 movies in account. My phone reflects this, My Sony Blu-ray player reflects this, my computer reflects this, but my Roku only show 1,180 movies. I have no idea which 2 are missing. I rebooted the Roku, signed out, and deleted and re-downloaded the vudu app. It didn't fix the issue. Is this part of the same issue? Why would the Roku display a lower quantity of movies?

This may be corrected now. This morning the movies that were previously missing in my account have returned.

They showed up after I completed a D2D transaction - maybe need to do something that causes a refresh from UV, perhaps an unlink/relink of your UV library would do it.

I have added titles, and unlinked/relinked for them to port. The missing titles don't come back

It seems to be random. All of it. This whole situation. There are people who lost nothing

I got a message from the Vudu facebook saying that the issue had been resolved and I should have my movies back. I do not. I'm sure they are working on it, but it's definitely not resolved on my end.

Same here. Issue is far from resolved, but I do appreciate the gentleman from UVVU taking time to post here. I understand this is a difficult situation for Mods and Engineers alike, please understand it's a bit of a difficult situation for us who are missing flicks too. I'm hoping we see a resolution to this very soon, because I'd love to keep giving vudu my money. But until this is resolved, I've clamped down on any and all digital purchases.

Is it really the time to put out a new UI during this time with troubles Vudu is having?
