      Re: Missing Movies

Missing more than 200 movies. I haven't compiled a list of missing titles but they appear to be completely random. Although I've been using Vudu throughout the week, I only noticed this when logging in this morning. After browsing this forum, it appears that some have reported this happening to them earlier this week, while others are just beginning to experience these issues like me. Some have said that this was fixed automatically. I don't know what to believe anymore, but it's getting exceedingly frustrating. All my titles do show up in my Ultraviolet account.

Customer service had put me on hold several times, at first saying it was a UV issue, than a Target ticket Issue, and then Cinemanow. All the while I explained that the missing titles are completely random.

        Re: Missing Movies

Anyone still missing titles, there is a last resort option that forces a resync.

        1. Log in to UV, select unlink VUDU then save.
        2. Log in to VUDU, unlink UV there as well.
        3. Change your UV username.
        4. Relink VUDU to the new username.
        5. Goto MY VUDU/MY Movies, refresh page, repeat occasionally.

It will take a few minutes, but movies will be restored. After your movies are restored you could repeat above procedure to use the old username and movies will stay intact. This way you don't need to change links on other providers.

This works, since it makes the Vudu system reload data from UltraViolet. But you don't need to change your UV username, that's just extra work that doesn't make any difference. You do need to be patient, since it can take a while for Vudu to reload large UV Libraries.

                Re: Missing Movies

I just discovered that I'm also missing many titles. I followed the steps to unlink and then relink but that did not help. I have opened a support ticket with UV. Will wait and see what happens, the response so far is not looking good.

As feared UV has been unable to resolve the issue even after escalation and so they have decided to pass the buck to Vudu.

Anyone have contact info for Executive management of UV? I searched but couldn't find any information.

                    Re: Missing Movies

Movies not importing into Vudu are usually caused by 2 things.

1 - Internation ALIDs - Movies that were redeemed from codes that are region locked. Since Vudu is a US only provider, we do not accept these ALIDs per movie studio agreements.

2 - Invalid ALIDs - These are erroneous ALIDs that were placed by the provider with whom you redeemed/purchased the content with. To get this resolved, you will need to contact customer service for that provider and have them update the ALID for those titles.
