    Missing Movies

I'm missing about 200 movies from my Vudu account. On February 2nd, 2016, I had 2715 movies in there. I've since added multiple movies. My count as of today? 2525. I've spoken with others who are having the same issue, and I'd really like to know what's going on and why movies are just randomly being removed from accounts. Moderator feedback and information is greatly welcomed and appreciated.

Thank you for makine this post. I thought it was only me and was having a panic attack. Im missing about 500 or so from mine too. My uv library number hasn't changed and I've checked on uv site for some of the missing movies and they are still there on uvvu. Tried the linking unlinking and all that did was screw up the layout of my library on vudu making it even worse. I'm not sure if I will be able to get my movies back in the order they were in, which is dissapointing but I would really like them back in my library at the least. Hopefully it is just an error and they will fix it soon. I invested alot in uv and vudu and prefer vudu the most so not being able to watch a chunk of my movies on vudu will well really suck.

Three other accounts linked to my UV account have diminished numbers as well.

          Re: Missing Movies

I am missing several 100 movies as well, I have researched the problem and it appears most of the movies missing were disc to digital additions not saying all, as I have not researched and found every movie yet. But what is interesting is every movie missing from Vudu that was there a day ago is still intact in my UV locker. So this is a Vudu problem not allowing these movies to show up in our Vudu library. I am wondering if the ALID # of these movies have been changed some how on Vudu's side blocking the ability for Vudu to recognize the movies from your UV locker. Just a theory i have at this point.

Missing over 300 as well. Enter the Dragon, Ghost of Mars, European Vacation, Open Season 3, and Eraser just showed up in my recent purchases about an hour ago then I noticed. I got those on D2D probably over a year ago. Haven't went through my list to see what was missing but I have them all in Excel that I was tracking them in. Would rather not go through 3500 movies though.

So far I've noticed 300, 976-Evil and 10,000 BC missing but both of those were CinemaNow purchases and are in my UV locker so I'm going to email them first. Some of my other Cinema Now ones are showing up so its not all of them.

              Re: Missing Movies

I am missing around 138 or so in MY VUDU, but was unsure about my family members' accounts. To find out, I created a new Vudu, linked it to a UV of my library, and waited to see which movies and shows would show up. It turns out AT LEAST 200 MOVIES PLUS some TV shows did not port. Thankfully, these are in my UV locker. Thinking this is some sort of glitch, and not an ALID change of 200+ movies and multiple TV shows. Hoping this gets fixed either way

I am in the same boat, but have some info I have figured out, not sure how useful this will be though.

                1) The first one I saw missing is 2001 A Space Odyssey. That movie is still in my UV library, but VUDU does not see that I own it.

                2) When I log into Flixster it sees it and all my movies, or well close to all of them. Hard to say it has them all when I have over 1000 movies, but Flixster does say I have over 1000 where VUDU is 969.

I noticed The Hangover 2 is listed along with The Good Dinosaur as my 2 most recent movies, which makes no sense since Hangover 2 was "Acquired Jul 18, 2012" according to UV.

So something is going on with VUDU, what...I don't know. Hopefully this will be fixed soon.

How bizarre... I still have both 2001 and HANGOVER 2 in my VUDU account, but missing 2010: THE YEAR WE MAKE CONTACT as well as several hundred others yet to be identified.

I used CinemaNow to convert my 2010 DVD back on Feb. 16, 2013 and it still shows up there as well as MyUV.com, Flixster, and MGO, so whatever is happening certainly seems to be VUDU-specific.

                    Re: Missing Movies

I don't know my exact count, but I was somewhere over 1,610 previously. Today, I'm at 1,480.

I already put in a support ticket prior to reading this thread. Obviously, there's a problem somewhere.

Seems like mine that are having issues are around that time for CinemaNow. I've found several Feb-March 2013 that are missing on VUDU from CinemaNow. Plus my old movies that just showed up as recent purchases on VUDU were also originally from Cinema Now in early March.

                        Re: Missing Movies

So I started to see what I was missing. It seems really random. I am missing some SD movies that I got for free, some D2D movies I recently added, and then some codes I used from the Bale Batman movies that I bought years ago. So the date/time added, place of origin, and quality doesn't matter.

On top of that 2 of my friends that I share my movies with both see different totals. My total will be different due to Disney movies which they of course don't have access to, but their totals should be the same, they don't use DMA just UV from my main library.

                        ME (UV, VUDU, DMA): 969
                        Friend #1 (UV): 913
                        Friend #2 (UV): 993

So Friend #2 actually has more movies then I do in his VUDU account even though he doesn't even see the DMA movies. I am done with seeing what is missing since I don't think it really matters at this point since it is VUDU account specific and not UV account specific.

                          I'm only missing six:

                          American History X
                          Awakenings
                          Cyrus
                          Gladiator
                          Pineapple Express
                          Sunshine Cleaning

All of these were Vudu Disc-2-Digital purchases.

Ok new update, sorry for all the posts.

As of yesterday evening I had 1044 movies in my VUDU app on PS4. I just turned my PS4 on and it still said 1044, but it was turned on from suspend mode, I changed the sorting from Newest to A-Z and it went down to 969. That is a loss of 75 movies.

Ok so if I change the sort back to newest first it shows a number of 1044, but I couldn't find any of the missing movies...So I scrolled ALLLLL the way down and this is what I see. So it says I have 1044 (which is my old correct total) but it does not see the other 75 movies.
