When will more UHD studios come?

Still only seeing Warner Bros. available for UHD HDR/Atmos titles. When will VUDU be adding more UHD content from other studios? Fox, Sony, and others are out there with UHD content, UHD Blu-ray releases and so on. VUDU needs to expand beyond Warner.

I am sure that VUDU would like to as well, however that is a decision made by the Studios and UHD compatibility with VUDU/UVVU. They all need to get on the same page with the "type" of UHD they are going to provide. It seems that there are multiple "formats" (types) of UHD and it appears that each studio has their own "flavor".

Sorry I do not have the better grasp of the different types of overlays and formats that are offered in UHD, but from what I have read, no one appears to be on the same line regards the format that is being used, as such nothing is universal yet. Also if they are not all on board with UVVU, then there is even more griping, and of course even though it maybe Sony (hypothetical) that does not have UVVU ability for the titles, you can betcha that VUDU will be blamed.

So for that reason, perhaps they are going with what works for now and will as time and uniformity permits add other studios that have like & similar formats and UVVU.

This is a very new "thing", and will not be as instant and overnight as much as everyone would like it to be. Remember "Patience is a Virtue".

One question is that if you redeem a code from a 4k bluray, for example Deadpool, once UHD becomes live for that studio, could you reuse that code to get the UHD copy or would it automatically upgrade on your account?

Redeem your code directly with UV and not the vendors like Vudu, then you will be assured the highest resolution the code gives you will be in your UV account for the future.

The UV redemption site typically sends you to a provider to complete the redemption. Has that changed?
