    Fandango & Vudu

If a title on Fandango is UV enabled, but not UV enabled on Vudu, will it still port to Vudu or no?

Luckily there aren't a whole lot of movies that are UV at Fandango and not Vudu. A lot of times they eventually come to Vudu. I think the only one I am still waiting for is Munich which i got from Fandgonow (back when it was MGO).

A better question is why would a title be licensed as UV by the studio and all UV participants not have the correct status? If it's UV on Fandango or CinemaNow then it should be UV on VUDU.

If a retailer is participating with the studios with UltraViolet then they should all make a title UV. There isn't suppose to be any special license with certain retailers. The license is between the studio and consumer.

Here is how UltraViolet is advertised:
UltraViolet connects you with YOUR entertainment, on YOUR terms. Buy movies & TV shows ONCE, add them to your online UltraViolet Library at no cost, then instantly stream and download to a wide variety of devices at home and on the go. With your UltraViolet Library, you have choices for where to buy and watch - at any time, you can choose from a growing number of participating UltraViolet retailers. And, you can share your UltraViolet Library with your chosen circle of family and friends.

And to be fair to Vudu, Fandango has a TON of titles that are not UV enabled that ARE in Vudu, including some new releases (meaning you would not be able to get them with the Digital HD code)...

That is true, in fact the former M-Go had far more UV authorized titles in their system NOT flagged as UV than VUDU. It's all a big mess...and what is sad is that it doesn't have to be this bad.
