    Vudu takes Walmart giftcards now!

My apologies if this has been reported elsewhere in another thread, but Walmart gift cards are not good on Vudu. You can add Walmart gift cards to your account under 'Payment Info'

Considering, you have to add payment info to purchase anything on Vudu, there is not a difference between Vudu now accepts/takes Walmart gift cards as payment, and Walmart gift cards are now good as payment?

Since you can add a Walmart gift card as a payment type then that makes the gift cards good to use on Vudu and mean they take them...

But anyway, saying the gift cards are now "good" on Vudu would be poor grammar.
I believe Cupcake and Lujan have had many conversations in the past. They know each other and it's not the bust your chops thing.

Ah got ya. Still no point to the post. Saying a payment type is good to use, versus a payment type is taken has no difference in meaning...

              Technically both ways are wrong.

You would say, "Walmart Gift Cards are now accepted as payment on Vudu."

All I'm saying is that I'm excited because I frequently get Walmart gift cards as gifts from friends and family, and as prizes in work contests. So this turn of events pleases me greatly!

So do you have to have a credit card on file before you can use a gift card?

Re: Vudu takes Walmart giftcards now!

I added my Walmart gift card to my vudu account and it shows it there when I look at Payment Info. Payment info shows my PayPal as default payment method. But when I look at Payment and Balance history it shows that there's no gift card balance there. I preordered Deadpool and I know that vudu doesn't charge your preferred payment choice until movie is released. What I need to know is that will my Walmart gift card be depleted first? I want the gift card to be used.
