The Vudu Forums are designed to help viewers get the most out of their Vudu experience. Here, Vudu customers may post information, questions, ideas, etc. on the subject of Vudu and Vudu -related issues (home theater, entertainment, etc). Although the primary purpose of these forums is to help Vudu customers with questions and/or problems with their Vudu service, there are also off-topic areas available within the Vudu Forums for users to chat with like-minded people, subject to the limitations below.

Please post all comments in English. When posting a comment in the Vudu Forums, please conduct yourself in a respectful and civil manner. While we respect that you may feel strongly about an issue, please leave room for discussion.

Vudu reserves the right to refrain from posting and/or to remove user comments, including comments that contain any of the following:

1. Obscenities, defamatory language, discriminatory language, or other language not suitable for a public forum

    What gives with VUDU?

    REAL tired of nothing playing on it. Including movies that I bought! It just spins, wont load anything. This has been a problem for weeks?

    Check with your ISP. You're modem could be having issues. Does other streaming services work? I rarely have any issues with playing a title on my end. When I do it's because someone I share movies with is trying to watch the same movie as me.

      I haven't had any issues. Maybe you should open a ticket with them. Better yet call, I think the # is 888-554-8838.

          Did you solve your problem?

          We use Vudu daily on multiple devices, in multiple locations and haven't had this issue.

            I have been having the same issue...but with particular episodes of a show. Last month it was ONE Rick & Morty episode. After getting upset working with customer service, they refunded me and I had to purchase the episode somewhere else. Now I am having an issue with a Vikings episode....I just sit there & stare at the loading screen as well. But I can play any other episode I've purchased just fine. I can play any of the stuff in my library fine...but then when I go back and try this particular episode--nada. Customer service has me sending them speed tests, IP, unplugging my router/modem, even though I had NO INTERNET ISSUES. I've re-installed the app on my tvs & just this ONE episode doesn't play, lol. On my computer it doesn't play...and I am directly wired to our router/modem. Now they want me to run a traceroute? ...for a $1.99 SD episode. I wish they would just cancel & refund me since this has wasted so much time. I purchased a movie just days ago too & that worked fine. It seems to only be tv show episodes? I'm not sure...but Vudu asks for a lot compared to Netflix, Amazon, & Hulu customer service.

              I have the first 3 seasons of R & M. Why don't you let us know which episode won't play so other forum members can check? I don't have Vikings, but I'm sure someone else here does. This way, we can figure out if it's just you or everyone. If other people are having issues with the same particular episode, then it's on Vudu to fix the file.

                I requested this in a PM, hopefully poster will provide details of the exact device model and episodes. In general device model + specific content will help us a lot to debug if there are issues!
