I'm guessing that downloading a movie counts as starting to watch the movie. So you have 48 or 72 hours or whatever once you've downloade the movie to actually finish watching it.

Even then, only Movies Anywhere titles will cross-pollinate into Fandango. None of your television purchases will cross over into Fandango. Movies Anywhere is only about movies, not television.

I have a Samsung TV, and it gives me this same streaming hangup from time to time. Power cycling the router and the TV usually fixes it. By power cycling, I mean completely unplugging it from the wall. Technically, modern TV's never do fully power down. If the problem persists beyond your tolerance, I would suggest a Chromecast (or a Chromecast Ultra if you have a 4K TV). I NEVER, NEVER, NEVER have issues with my Chromecasts. They are more dependable than my TV's onboard apps any day of the week. And, to be honest, the picture quality seems a little better through the Chromecast as well, especially on my Samsung. Phone navigation is easier than remote control navigation as well, in my opinion.
      Amen.

Smart TVs are, for some reason, what everyone uses. Most are slow and have issues and a shelf life.

Nvidia Shield, Apple TV 4K, and a Chromecast Ultra are never going to fail.

I don't ever recommend Fire TV sticks or Roku.
