    Unable to watch Tron Legacy 3D

    I just purchased the Tron Legacy 2D/3D bundle. Went to watch the 3D version and I get an error that says:
    "Playback error - Sorry, the video player has stopped working. Please try again."

    I've tried again about 50 times and get the same error every time. I've tried closing the app and restarting. I've tried shutting the TV off and restarting. Neither have worked. I tried the 2D version and had no trouble. I tried my other 3D movies and they all play with no problems. Just the Tron Legacy 3D does not work. I either need to get this figured out or I need a refund.

    TV is a brand new 2016 LG OLED65C6P with latest firmware.
    The System Info from the app shows:
    Device ID: 39
    Widget Version: 163356
    Hardware ID: LGE-:M16:e7ada000ad5d285f4c5d71c98f04a408

    Still unable to watch this movie. I tried again the next day just in case it was a temporary issue. Still gives the exact same error. I guess it's time to open a support ticket.

        No. HDX.

        I opened a support ticket. Ticket # 160728-000274 if you want to check it out. As of now they want me to call since they have been unable to figure it out through email.

          Could you check under settings within the Vudu app and make sure that the default streaming quality is set to HDX.

            My default streaming quality is set to UHD. Could this be the problem? If I change it to HDX what will happen when I want to watch a UHD movie? Will it automatically try to stream in UHD or HDX? I'll try setting the default to HDX tonight and see if that helps. Please note that all my other 3D movies are playing just fine with the default set to UHD.

              I changed my default quality from UHD to HDX and tried watching the movie again. Same error.

                We are expecting a firmware update from LG with 3D support improvements soon. We hope that this update will help resolve this issue. We do not have an ETA on when LG will release this update.

                  I don't think any LG firmware updates have been installed recently. I tried watching this movie the other evening just to see if it was still not working and I got the same error. Out of habit, I tried it a few more times and and got the same error a few times but on the last try the movie started playing and played through to the end with no problems. I have not since tried playing the move again. Will try again in the next couple days. Not sure what could be different. To my knowledge no LG or VUDU app updates have been installed recently. Any ideas? I hate when things just magically start working because it makes it that much harder to find out what the problem was to begin with.
