    fusterated at disney anywhere go!

I've loved vudus service...I utilize it to watch movies with my mom who lives in another state and my sister who lives in another state. My sister got the nightmare before christmas and told me she wanted to share so we could enjoy the movie together (cheaper the driving a few states to have sibling time!) But I would need a disney rewards account...which I have. So I get the app as the website suggested. Got into my account and linked. I added the movie code which it promptly accepted (guess this should've been. A clue). Get done and had my fiance look on his ipad if the movie popped up on vudu. Nothing. So I googled an answer...and came across people saying to unlink the account and relink it...so I have...and not just once and still nothing...so I'm curious if there is something I'm missing or what? Helpfully someone can help cause I'm ready to say forget it...and disney does not have a way to contact for help :/

I don't understand why you did all that work.... when you could have redeemed straight from VUDU.
    https://my.vudu.com/redeem.html#sele..._/_/_/false/_/

I would advise against linking and re-linking to DMA multiple times. What I would do is go to disneymovieanywhere and check to make sure that the movie code that your sister gave you was for the MOVIE and not for POINTS.

    DisneyMovieRewards
    DisneyMovieAnywhere

For The Nightmare Before Christmas, and people can correct me if I am wrong, this is how the movie came out

+100 Disney Movie REWARDS Points: DVD
+150 Disney Movie REWARDS Points: Blu-ray
+200 Disney Movie REWARDS Points And Digital Copy: 3D Bluray

If the movie is not in your DisneyMoviesAnywhere collection, then it will never port to VUDU.

You said you redeemed the movie on DisneyMovieRewards.com. That will only give you points. You should also redeem the movie on DisneyMoviesAnywhere.com, and then link that account to vudu.

It add's the points to your DMR and the movie to your DMA. It's the best way to do it.

            I advise the opposite.

If you redeem the DMA code on Vudu it adds the DMA but it DOESN'T add the DMR points to your account. If you redeem on Disney you can get the movies and the points done at the same time.

If you PURCHASE digital versions on Vudu THEN it DOES add the movie to DMA and the points to DMR.

I was advising not to link and unlink DMA a bunch of times, as I personally have had problems and then had to call Disney and a castmember explained the situation. As for the redeeming on VUDU lol, I was confused why he had to make a disneyrewards account... if he wants just the movie, and you try to redeem the movie code on vudu, there is no need for the disneyrewards account.

Since he is saying that he redeemed the code over on DMR / DMA, personally, i would check to see if the movie is DMA in there

I wasn't saying that one website is better to redeem, I was saying try not to unlink DMA a bunch of times.

Honestly, it sounds like your sister gave you either the DVD or Bluray insert that was points only, and not the 3D Bluray insert that gives the digital copy.

What the OP is saying is that he tried to redeem the movie code and VUDU yelled at him saying he needed to link a Disney account to his VUDU account. This he interpreted wrong as to redeem a digital copy code, you dont need DMA linked to VUDU which is where all the confusion is coming from

Points inserts dont give movies =\
