I really believe this is a Warner Bros. issue and not a streaming vendor issue. I've contacted Warner Bros. on multiple occasions and they just never responded about this.

    679 UHD
    805 HDX
    5 SD

Then, as I mentioned in the Dark City thread, Vudu needs to pick up the phone and HOUND either WB or MA until this gets fixed. As I said earlier, iTunes has managed to have this right for a LONG time now, despite the dual entries at MA. There is simply no good reason why Vudu customers should be treated this way, especially when iTunes successfully addressed this issue months ago.

I will admit that WB has serious customer-support issues, as I personally just put a year-long nightmare of an experience behind me concerning scratched discs in my LOTR 4K and Hobbit 4K sets. Warner's home media department did not respond to multiple requests for help spanning 11 months, until I happened to touch base with a guy at WB that wasn't even in the media department who lit a fire under some butts. That said, I seriously doubt they would treat a business partner like Vudu that way. Vudu just needs to push the issue, but historically they haven't CARED enough about improving things for their customers to do so.

Looks like this now has a single listing at VUDU yet the UHD is still not porting into VUDU.

Warner and MA stated it was a VUDU issue while VUDU states it is a Warner or MA issue.

As a customer I have no interest in placing any blame. I simply want my title available as it should.

Is any company actually being any work towards a fix or still just blaming each other?

As far as I'm aware Vudu has only ever carried a single version of the movie. MA has two versions but the second one was never added to Vudu.

Going back and rereading the comments, I see that now. I do wish it would finally get worked out. I thought we had a potential move in that direction. Yet seems still same state of issue.

It has been a couple more months and still an issue. When will VUDU align with MA for the accurate version to be available?

For all the things VUDU and Fandango have done right or corrected I hesitate to complain. Yet today 5/19/22 I received a reply to my help ticket on this issue that I submitted 1/1/2022 apologizing about how late it was getting back with me. And then explaining that VUDU has a different license for this title in UHD than what MA providers.

While it may be a different license the question is why is it a different license. Considering all other MA providers besides VUDU were provided the correct license. I wish VUDU could work with WB to get the right license.

I'm very disappointed with the state of this. This needs to be resolved. I was told months ago that it was getting resolved soon. I don't believe it will be. How hard can this be to fix. Every other streaming provider handles this correctly.

I have also been dealing with this issue. I have gotten the same blame game since January from both Vudu and MA. This really makes no sense, they are treating it like it is 2 different cuts of the same movie. How hard can it be to do what all other connected streamers have done?

Me too, I even tried contacting the studio and never got any response back at all after trying 2 or 3 times. I finally gave up.

It’s been over a year and this continues to be an issue. Every platform has the same version with the exception of Vudu. Why can’t Vudu/Fandango get this fixed.

Yeah, that's never been a problem. It will port from VUDU to MA just fine. The problem is that MA has two versions and the version that ports in to MA from VUDU is not the same version connected to all other vendors so it will not port to other vendors. And if you had purchased it from a different vendor it would not port in to VUDU.

Like a true Christmas "miracle" the UHD port from MA is showing up in my account tonight, I noticed because it's first in line now.

Just great. Now I have duplicates of this title. One in UHD and one in HDX. Can't these things just be simple?!
