Deals are still there. Links have just been removed from the main page. If you have them bookmarked or do a Google search you'll find them.

That said there was almost no $5 deals this last week, where typically there would be loads of them. BUT I see Vudu had like two hundred $5 deals this weekend.

So as far as deals go it seems like they are (mostly) already transitioned to Vudu. Sad since I have numerous FN credits and gift cards in the hundreds I need to use still.

Will my Walmart/Vudu account need to be changed to vudu only? I want to be sure my movies get transferred from fandangonow. Vudu customer service said it’s ok, but I would like to know from someone more trustworthy.

Don't trust any dates. It'll happen when it happens.

Hopefully they take a long look at the advantages of both and merge the best of both together. But I don’t see them wanting to spent the time and money to do it properly, err ideally.

I’m wondering what will happen with iMAX enhanced titles such as Spider-Man Far From Home? The FandangoNow app on my Sony TV plays parts of that movie in 1.77 resolution (full screen). In the Vudu app the whole movie is 1.85:1 (black bars at top and bottom).

Hopefully they keep both up for a few weeks after the merge so you can compare. But I doubt it.

One feature FandangoNow has that I hope Vudu integrates is the ability to download special features for offline play. The former is currently the only app that includes that.

I don't see why we should have to worry about our UHD being downgraded to HD if the HD is over at FNow, bought first, then bought UHD on Vudu, but we must be worried. If that screws up, they need to have a planned fix just in case.

I just want to make sure the titles Vudu has never offered, but FNow does, will port over - even if it's a default page with the title not for sale. I just want to watch my FNow titles in Vudu - all of them. I just went and purchased a handful of titles, in hopes this all plays out correctly.
