My current Vudu listing of Far From Home still shows the usual "4K, HDR10, Dolby Vision, Dolby Atmos"; no mention of IMAX Enhanced. Not 100% certain, but for now it seems that specific FN perk died with FN.

Sadly yeah. IMAX enhanced wasn’t listed in all the advantages of this merger. Given that Sony Master Series OLED has an IMAX enhanced mode it’s a truly sad day.

Though IMAX tried to sell IMAX Enhanced as a special kind of HDR or other format, I'm not sure it was ever anything more than a certification program for ordinary HDR10 or possibly HDR10+, possibly with full-screen IMAX sequences. I also know that IMAX Enhanced discs were supposed to come with DTS:X audio, but I doubt that carried over to FN; while Vudu uses lossy DD+ Atmos (lossless surround sound codecs require too much bandwidth for streaming), I don't recall DTS:X being offered on any codec except lossless DTS-HD Master Audio.

My total of Vudu movies went from 875 to 879. Nothing new showed up at the top of the list. Before the merger I owned the uhd of the original 1974 "Gone in 60 seconds" on FN. But only in sd on vudu. After it says I own it in uhd but plays in hdx?

Might not be available in UHD. I’ve got a few Universal titles that state UHD rights but UHD streams by not yet available. This goes back prior to merger.

Criminy. I had 1047 movies in Vudu this morning. Merged libraries and now I only have 1043. (Should have added 3 individual movies and 2x Studio Ghibli collections of 6 movies each...so 15 more movies or 5 if sets still only count for one.) How the heck would my movie count go down? How the heck am I going to audit what exactly happened? (I have a master Excel spreadsheet, but it will take forever to go line-by-line!) Suggestions...anyone?

Purchased Showgirls on FandangoNow, looks like it didn't carry over to my Vudu account. Is there a work-around?

I followed all steps in the merger emails and now I can no longer log in into Vudu using my Walmart.com Log in.

Looks like some movies are still being transferred or other issues fixed. My movie count went up again today from the count post merger yesterday.

I’m having issues with the process. I opened the original email from FandangoNow “Move your account now to view your account info”. I clicked the “Start Now” link which brought up a web page with a link to verify email. Once I click the link it asks me to enter my email to send a verification email. Once that arrived I clicked the “verify” link which brought another web page saying “
Your Link Expired We’ll need to resend an email to you with a new link.” I’ve tried it several times and each time it comes back link expired. I’ve sent two emails now to Vudu to find out what’s going on. We’ll see what they say. I have a lot of movies that were digital copies of Blu-ray’s I bought. Most of which came from Flixter before Fandango took that over.

                        Had similar issues.

There should be button in the Account section of your Vudu account to start the merge. Give that a try.

There is no button on my Account page on Vudu.

                          606 UHD
                          785 HDX

Go though all the various account pages. I just saw it’s still in mine even though I already did the transfer.

Mine was odd as well. Some movies which were individual titles at VUDU became inside bundles after the merge. I had to go row by row on VUDU (for hours) to sort out the collection vs the spreadsheet I manage for our digital libraries.

I found duplicate titles as well.

Well, apparently if you had titles on FandangoNow that had higher quality audio or video, you are now out of luck with the merger. It seems that whatever was on Vudu is what takes priority, and we have no way to verify what exactly we have now lost and must rely on our own memory with no physical proof.

There were several movies in my Vudu library that I ended up watching on other services like FandangoNow because Vudu had the movie only with stereo audio or the movie was in the wrong aspect ratio.

Examples of HD/HDX movies that had 5.1 Dolby Digital audio on FN but only stereo on Vudu:
                                Collateral
                                Catch Me If You Can
                                The Lost Boys
                                Master and Commander
                                Megamind
                                Mission: Impossible 3
                                Poltergeist (1982)
                                Singin' In the Rain
                                Tropic Thunder (Director's Cut)
                                Twilight Zone: The Movie

Examples of movies that were in the correct aspect ratio on FN but are cropped to full screen (1.78:1) on Vudu:
                                Blazing Saddles
                                Conspiracy Theory

I have also noticed issues with two movies that played just fine prior to the library merge, but now are not in the versions I paid for:
Labyrinth (no longer available in UHD despite Vudu showing that I own the UHD version)
Bridge on the River Kwai (still UHD, but no longer with HDR)

The response from Vudu support so far is that it is not that big a deal and that I should just live with it.

I smell a class-action lawsuit in the making.....
