Please post all comments in English. When posting a comment in the Vudu Forums, please conduct yourself in a respectful and civil manner. While we respect that you may feel strongly about an issue, please leave room for discussion.

Fandangonow Account not merging at all

When I called back, the first rep told me that he couldn't find an account under my email address despite the fact that I was receiving a verification email every time I entered a FandangoNow account email address.     I called back and got another rep who said that she couldn't find an account with my current email address, which I successfully used to sign into FandangoNow on my dad's smart TV a few weeks before the merger of the two services. She said that she did find an account with my previous email address, which I changed on the FandangoNow site about 2 years ago. When I entered my old email address at, I would get a message that there was no FandangoNow account matching that email, but I was still getting verification emails with an expired link when I entered my current email address.

    This rep told me that she would put in another ticket escalation and that the issues are usually addressed within 48 to 72 hours. I tried merging accounts with again today, 4 days later. Now the website tells me there is no FandangoNow account found with either email address. Does that mean that my accounts were merged, or did they just purge me from the FandangoNow system? Is there any indication in the Vudu website that shows a successful merge if I don't remember any specific movies that were purchased through FandangoNow and not already synced across providers through Ultraviolet or Movies Anywhere?

    Update: After calling and speaking to someone else, a rep told me that there were no trouble tickets entered for my previous calls, but she did locate a library under my old email address. According to her, this means that they can still merge my FandangoNow account with Vudu and this should be resolved within 24 to 48 hours.
