Feature suggestion: Family accounts (with SEPARATE logins)...

As I rapidly close-in on a couple MAJOR milestones in 2000 VUDU titles and 1500 Movies Anywhere titles...I feel it is time that I take a private request that I have made on numerous occasions PUBLIC.

My request is to VUDU and Movies Anywhere: PLEASE, work together to provide your users with 3 or 4 (maybe even 5) family accounts, each with SEPARATE logins.

It has been a little more than 2 1/2 years now since Ultraviolet announced on January 31, 2019 that they would shut down their service on July 31, 2019. As the heir apparent to Ultraviolet, in MANY ways Movies Anywhere offers directly equivalent services (and has continued to develop and evolve)...but UNLIKE its predecessor, Movie Anywhere does NOT provide for its end-users to be able to create a set number of UNIQUE logins linked together to the SAME movie library.

Why is that important? Families. As the individual rights holder to a respectable digital library, I want to be able to safely and securely share the my digital library with a handful (or so) of family members living in their own separate living spaces. That’s a son or daughter that have grown up enough to strike out on their own, grandma and grandpa, or perhaps your big sister and your little brother.

This functionality WAS built right into Ultraviolet, but now that it’s gone...so to is the ability to share one’s digital library beyond their own household (and that just DOESN’T seem right to me).

    Respectfully,

    Alan Adams
