The Vudu Forums are designed to help viewers get the most out of their Vudu experience. Here, Vudu customers may post information, questions, ideas, etc. on the subject of Vudu and Vudu -related issues (home theater, entertainment, etc). Although the primary purpose of these forums is to help Vudu customers with questions and/or problems with their Vudu service, there are also off-topic areas available within the Vudu Forums for users to chat with like-minded people, subject to the limitations below.

Please post all comments in English. When posting a comment in the Vudu Forums, please conduct yourself in a respectful and civil manner. While we respect that you may feel strongly about an issue, please leave room for discussion.

Vudu reserves the right to refrain from posting and/or to remove user comments, including comments that contain any of the following:

1. Obscenities, defamatory language, discriminatory language, or other language not suitable for a public forum
2. Email addresses, phone numbers, links to websites, physical addresses or other forms of contact information

    Rental codes from Thanksgiving Week purchases

    When were we supposed to receive our rental codes for our Thanksgiving Week purchases. There was a promo for a free rental for every $20 purchased. I spent enough for multiple codes.

    I've looked in my account under credit and discounts and see nothing. And I have not received an email with any codes.

    Some folks got their emails almost a week ago, but I should have qualified for the max of 5 rentals and never got any email.

      The fine print reads "You will receive an email by 11:59pm PT on 12/11/2021 with the Code(s) sent to the email address that is associated with the Vudu account that you used for transactions during the Offer Period. You may have to pay taxes additionally. Code(s) expire on (and must be used by) 12/31/2021 at 11:59pm PT."

      I guess it's time to call Vudu?

        FelipeF - some folks are definitely not getting their rental credits. Many of them used VUDU Gift Cards for their Thanksgiving Week purchases, which are noted as an acceptable payment method in the terms (see graphic attached):

        "each $20 that you spend using a credit card or gift card to rent or purchase ..."

        FelipeF - can you ask VUDU to look at this and delivering the rental codes to those who fulfilled the terms using either payment method? Because those rental code terms are running out on 12/31.

          I was expecting several credits based on the terms of the promotion. I was disappointed when I didn't receive any. I hope this can be resolved.

            Ditto. I should be getting the max of five (5) codes, but still nothing. Hopefully they arrive soon, as there are actually a few films I already had in mind for their use.

                  You need to call Vudu and then they'll escalate it to whoever they send it to and maybe later you'll get you code that was promised?

                    Called on Sunday morning and was told would be escalated but still no update or codes. I hope if they do actually send them, they’ll extend the expiration date.

                      I'm also missing my rental codes from the promotion as described on https://www.watchvudu.com/TG2021/
                      I spent over $100 just between Nov 25-26 using gift cards and should receive the maximum 5 rental codes.

                            yeah this is a bust for me too, actually the first promo I've done that didn't work automagically without problem. I have since opened 2 tickets and not heard for anyone at all, not sure if anyone is even looking at tickets over there?

                              I have the same issue. I opened tickets on 12/12, and again on 12/15. I haven't received a response to either.
