Vudu Forum Guidelines

The Vudu Forums are designed to help viewers get the most out of their Vudu experience. Here, Vudu customers may post information, questions, ideas, etc. on the subject of Vudu and Vudu -related issues (home theater, entertainment, etc). Although the primary purpose of these forums is to help Vudu customers with questions and/or problems with their Vudu service, there are also off-topic areas available within the Vudu Forums for users to chat with like-minded people, subject to the limitations below.

Please post all comments in English. When posting a comment in the Vudu Forums, please conduct yourself in a respectful and civil manner. While we respect that you may feel strongly about an issue, please leave room for discussion.

Vudu reserves the right to refrain from posting and/or to remove user comments, including comments that contain any of the following:

1. Obscenities, defamatory language, discriminatory language, or other language not suitable for a public forum
2. Email addresses, phone numbers, links to websites, physical addresses or other forms of contact information
3. "Spam" content, references to other products, advertisements, or other offers

      I spoke with a rep yesterday and was told nothing could be done until after the deadline (tonight at midnight). I don't expect VUDU to be much help tomorrow, but I'll try anyway...

        I can tell you I tried using chat on Wednesday 1/12... so a day after the promotion ended. I waited an hour and got disconnected from chat. So I sent an email. I made ~$115 in purchases in that time frame, so nearly 3x the amount, and have not heard anything back as of yet. Supposedly it's 72-hours for a response, but I'm not holding my breath. That's a response by tomorrow night.

          Vudu has never been quick to respond to emails. I've never emailed but always called (888-554-8838) in order to get a timely response. Support is not as good as before since being acquired by Fandango because now they just say they need to escalate it which is what FandangoNow always used to tell me. I wasn't even aware that Vudu had Chat support, but it must be something new since under Fandango?

            I've always used the chat. It's that circle with the V in the lower right corner of their webpage. It takes you through the usual Q&A answers before trying to connect to a Customer Service rep.

              Contacted VUDU through their chat and was able to get the credit. Had to wait several hours to get through to a rep though.
