    Internet Explorer error message

Beginning yesterday, I started getting a constant popup window in Internet Explorer that says:

"You are using an old version of your browser that is no longer supported by Vudu. Please upgrade your browser to a more recent version."

My version is 11.187 and I believe that is the most recent version available. My IE is supposed to automatically update to the most recent version and the Windows Update is up to date.

Anyone else having this issue? Any suggestions (other than use a different browser)?

I will submit a ticket to Vudu support, but curious if anyone else has seen this.

What version of Windows are you using?

Windows 10. The Edge browser is working fine, but it doesn't work with my password program, so I usually use IE. Just strange that I started getting the error all of sudden yesterday.

IE 11 may be emulating a lower version. Check Tools?>F12DeveloperTools-->Emulation and make sure "Document Mode" is set to IE10 or higher.

If after setting Document Mode to 10 or higher the setting don't save, then it means your Default mode is set to a different version. Open Tools-->CompatibilityViewSettings and remove www.vudu.com from the "list of websites you've added to compatibility view".

If the setting still doesn?t save at that point, then go back to Tools?>CompatibilityViewSettings and uncheck "Display intranet sites in compatibility view?, for some reason some internet websites come up as intranet sometimes.

Thanks for the information. This seemed to fix it on the Vudu movie pages, but not the forum page. I'm now even getting debugging errors on the Vudu forum. The Document Mode is now set to IE 11 (the default was set at IE 9).

Use IE 10 mode on the forums.

I tried everything you've suggested, but still getting the messages. I will just use other browsers until this gets resolved. I'm not sure if others are having this issue, since nobody has chimed in here.

              Thanks for your help.

I got the same error on IE 11 but just tried about 3 times and it finally worked. I have some pictures of the error but this forum doesn't allow pictures.

The forum should be working now. Can you please try again?
