Been wanting Vudu to do something like that for years, I mean every streaming service can do this why not them? Unfortunately they don't seem interested in it.

Lol don’t give me the “Good Luck”, you need to be giving it to Vudu because if what you’re saying is true, they’re going to need it!

Yes people have invested a lot of money into their Vudu library, but so has Nintendo, PC, PlayStation, and Xbox players… When a company shows no interest in improving their products and services, people get tired of it and eventually someone else comes out with a better product and the drive to keep innovating, which encourages people to not really care about paying for the same Game, Movie, Music, or Television titles again, but on a better platform.

There’s a lot Vudu needs that doesn’t have. Improvements are slow if at all.

    Good luck.

Unfortunately, this is very limiting and requires a third party. Vudu needs their own in-house/built-in Family Sharing feature that shares ALL titles, not just “some”.

Hopefully staff sees my comments regarding Family Sharing, sends them to their R&D department or whoever, so Vudu will finally have a permanent solution done the correct way for Family Sharing.

I hope to see in the near future, the day when customers can submit feedback improvements on Vudu’s own Family Sharing feature, so the feature can be perfected for everyone by Vudu’s engineers instead of relying on a third party and lapsed partnerships!

Apple currently has it, but it requires that the "parent" also share their credit card with all family members.
I’m not understanding why Vudu won’t build its own in-house Family Sharing feature, why do they feel the need to outsource such a simple feature from third parties?

It’s beyond crazy to hear you guys talk about the rough history Vudu has had with Family Sharing, when there’s so many great, amazing examples of Family Sharing “Done Right” on other video streaming platforms that Vudu could’ve drawn inspiration from a long time ago smh!

It’s also crazy that Vudu would rely heavily on third parties which would require Vudu customers to link their account to that platform and it’s services, compromising Vudu user’s sensitive data!

If they ever decide to do Family Sharing again, I hope it’s all in-house where I can go inside my Vudu account settings, send a Family Sharing invite via email or text, and manage members within my Family Share directly from my Vudu account settings.

Vudu’s Family Sharing feature, should require a Vudu account and a Vudu account only, if the person doesn’t have a Vudu account when the invitation link is sent out, then it’s up to “said person” to create their own Vudu account to utilize the Family Sharing link.

Members within the Family Share, should also have the “option” to toggle on or off, sharing of their own personal library to the Family Share group.

Currently, it’s unfortunate that the only way my household can do movie night, is by asking each other “what’s in your library or who’s going to purchase this movie or tv series tonight?”. It’s very annoying especially when it comes to Smart TV’s and having to always log in and out of different Vudu accounts just to access different libraries.
