Playback Stuttering ... Even with it buffered

This has happened to me twice now.. I ordered an HD movie "Max Payne" the other night and everything was fine during playback when all of a sudden I got some stuttering and dropped frames during playback. The only way that I was able to get smooth playback again was to fast forward a few seconds or backward and hit play again.. Yes .. I had about 30 mins buffered and downloaded so it was not because of my bandwidth. This is the second time I have seen this now.. I have a 16 MB down bandwidth and 4 MB upload. I did what every geek would do in trying to troubleshoot this.. I restarted with a hard reboot and power off. It almost looks as if the drive is getting fragmented.. Do you guys have any idea.. This only seems to happen on HD format or streaming HD .. I have not seen this yet with SD ..
Also .. You guys know if VUDU is in trouble? I have seen that there phone support is now gone and there "We Are Hiring" at the bottom of there website is gone as well.. That is NOT good for a supposed !! Growing company.. I LOVE VUDU and want them to succeed so bad I can taste it..
Thanks for any help that you can provide..

Re: Playback Stuttering ... Even with it buffered

The stuttering audio is a nagging problem. A cold reboot usually fixes it. If you can post your system ID and the approximate time of the problem, that will let the Vudu engineers look at your logs and add it to their forensics on this problem.

As for the Vudu company, everybody I've talked to at Vudu says things are fine and I have no reason to doubt them.

Re: Playback Stuttering ... Even with it buffered

How do I get the system ID info .. I believe it was about 1 hour 20 mins into the movie or so.. it was streaming HD .. I would be happy to post whatever they needed. Could the drives fragmented?
Also I did do a re-boot and it happened on another film as well..

Re: Playback Stuttering ... Even with it buffered

Your system ID can be found in "Info & Settings" on the Vudu home screen. It is also printed on the bottom of the Vudu.
