UV PORTING PROBLEMS - VUDU accounts ALL over the place

I own a total of approximately 4,770 films in my main VUDU account (mostly UV, some non-UV, 100+ DMA), and about 160 TV shows/seasons.

Right now - my main VUDU account reads 1,545 movies. TOTAL.

All settings are to "any" (no filtering is taking place). Yes, my UV account is linked.

I also checked this on every subaccount : linking AND filtering. I have one UV locker that all my accounts are linked to.

VUDU now says I don't own many movies that I do own; same with UV TV shows.
I went to watch an episode of MR. ROBOT, Season 1 - and it says I have to buy it! I OWN IT in UV!

My other VUDU sub-accounts read all over the place ...

    288
    892
    869
4,331 (this one is actually correct - being a sub-account - that's probably how many UV movies I own - not showing all the non-UV stuff

What the hell is going on? This doesn't even have anything to do with the weird DMA movies popping in and out - suddenly I own Iron Man 3 in 3D, or Maleficient in 3D, then I don't the next day.

Why do you need so many sub-accounts? Curious...

For family members to watch and do D2D of their owned movies into our shared UV library.

Perhaps I am missing something, but I also don't understand either why you have multiple accounts that you are managing.

I share with family members, but they have their own accounts.

You use the "Share My Movies" feature so family members who aren't under the same roof can share your UV library. They have their own accounts, and aren't HIS accounts per se, but it sounds like he has access to them...

Not sure how and why I share my UV library is relevant to the issue at hand - which is that the UV library is being delivered piecemeal and broken to various VUDU accounts - when it should be a steady number ... the total number of UV movies/TV that are in the library.

This is concerning because ... for all of us that buy digital licenses of movies ... we'd like them to "be there" because that's what these UV and DMA lockers ... promise us when we buy/redeem them.

have you tried unlinking and relinking the sub accounts?

Agreed that it may not be relevant. However, am assuming you are looking for input on why your VUDU library is incomplete. Is there some chance that the issue is tied to the fact that you are managing your library through multiple accounts?

Re: UV PORTING PROBLEMS - VUDU accounts ALL over the place

UV seems to be having another communication issue. I'm missing 146 titles on my primary vudu account, the same that went missing the last time. My family accounts are worse, one account is missing a thousand.

No - this shouldn't be an issue. Once a title ports to the UV library - whether from a main or a subaccount - it's ... "in the UV library" and thus visible to any VUDU (or other provider) account which is linked to that UV library.

Until about a week ago - my main account showed all my UV titles (4,300+) plus any non-UV titles (MGM, Criterion, Hallmark, etc.) and my DMA titles. My subaccounts showed all the UV titles (4,300+) plus any non-UV titles they had.

Now - the subaccounts show vastly different amounts. MAIN shows 1,546, SUB 1 shows 898, SUB 2 shows 296 ...

I was told by a VUDU rep on the phone that it appeared as if "part" of my UV library somehow got unlinked. As if you could partially unlink a library (shouldn't even be possible).

They also said it appeared as if I had deleted the titles ... about 3,000+ UV titles in one minute. Not possible. Also - they don't show as deleted at MYUV ... so I passed that VUDU "guess" over to UV.

UV says this is "related" to an "issue" they are aware of ... but ... whatever that means. I can't see/watch over 3,000 titles that this whole locker ("locker" - like locked up safe) should be showing me.

I had a similar issue with Disney not showing. Disney not VUDU or UV had cut off my account(once in the locker as you suggest is wrong)and I was asked to call them.
I use two emails of the same name different .coms and I had accidentally made a new account when I redeemed a movie
They said it's an easy fix, all they had to do was merge my accounts and all was well again. Maybe you've made two master/main accounts and...?

FYI - been reviewing what's missing.

Aside from stuff that is clearly not porting in that was purchased on other accounts, many titles which I either purchased in my main account (STOP OR MY MOM WILL SHOOT - 8/23/16) or redeemed using UV (Mr. Right, A Royal Night Out, etc.) are also missing FROM my main account.

                        Again, 3,000+ movies missing.
