    Harry Potter UHD ! ! !

I haven't seen it discussed yet so...

The last four HP titles are being released on UHD Disc in March along with Fantastic Beast (also UHD). The first four title will be later in the year.

So since it's WB we should expect it to be UHD UV on Vudu. Hopefully.

I also question if now if the best time to get the individual titles. I'm sure by Christmas 2018 or perhaps next year they'll have a 4k UHD box set.

So is Vudu going to have HP in UHD or not ?

I'm wondering the same. Harry Potter movies 5-8 are releasing on 4K Blu-ray this Tuesday. Usually Vudu will have the UHD versions available when the 4K counterpart is released.

With WB I'd say it was a good chance. But Vudu hasn't offered them for pre-sale though either so that's concerning.

They never offer pre sale on titles that are already out. It'll likely just gain the UHD option when the discs are released o

They might not offer the sale but they usually have the UHD encode ahead of release date. An example is Fast and Furious 6 and 7.

Paramount titles don't show up until the day the discs come out. May be the same thing

Not true. I redeemed Arrival and Allied early. Both movies had the UHD available about 5 days before the 4k disk release.

I'm actually getting a little nervous about this now myself. Can a mod please confirm that VUDU will be getting the UHD copies tomorrow?

So I see the UHD versions weren't added. Can Vudu please update us regarding whether or not they will be getting these titles? Thank you.

                        Re: Harry Potter UHD ! ! !

It is pretty pathetic that WB can release 4 Harry Potter movies in UHD at the same time as another flagship title (Fantastic Beasts) is released in UHD, with literally months of advance notice, and VUDU has no way for anyone to redeem or watch these 4 movies on release day.

So I don't see the Harry Potter or Fast & Furious in UHD. Not a good sign.

Wondering about just returning my UHD discs before I open them. Just got them from store today. I actually use Vudu to watch HDX, not the actual UHD disc.

EDIT: It appears the F&F "ARE" there in UHD down at the bottom of list, but still no HP in UHD.

Same. I just buy the physical to have aphysical thing in my hands and use the codes. I don't even own a UHD disc player.
