Did customer service just lie to me?

Countless sources tell me the current Xbox One version of VUDU allows you to sort your movies and filter them with many options. These options include genre, rating, year, tomatometer, and A-Z. However my Xbox One app does not allow me to do so. I've seen pictures of what it should look like, so I called Vudu support and the woman on the phone told me that her supervisor informed her that these sorting and filtering options do not exist on the Xbox One console. She claimed that I cannot rearrange my purchased movies into alphabetical order or tomatometer or genre. However I have heard from countless people in these forums and on other websites that it is 100% possible. Did customer service lie to me? Or are all the users from many other websites all feeding me incorrect information. Some people tell me to highlight my first movie and the click the left direction button and that it should take me off of me movies and onto the filter options window. This is not the case. I press left and nothing happens. I remain highlighted on my first movie no matter how many times I click left.

EDIT: after talking to many people, someone here finally told me that the magic number for movies is 40. Once you have 40 movies, the filter options will then appear to the left of your movies. Which means that the customer service representative on the phone was giving me incorrect information. I assume she was probably looking at the old version of the app haha no worries! I'll get a 40th movie soon and I'm certain it will work. Thanks everyone for the help. Edited this nightmare of a post to take out all the annoying specifics that made it way longer than it needed to be. Hopefully now it's less confusing for others with the same issue. Or maybe I'll just delete this. Is that even possible? Haha

Did you have to create another thread?

Remember there are 2 Vudu apps on the Xbox One. One is now defunct and it's been replaced with a new GUI.

I am aware of this and that is not the issue. I have the correct version of the app. That's why I included the widget version number so that people can see I'm talking about the new version. I've used the old version before and it looks way different. You can't even find the old version on the Xbox marketplace anymore. Any other suggestions?

Here's a link to my screen shot of my tv showing the sort option with my Xbox 1. I don't know why yours won't show the same thing.

          A pic would be helpful...

I don't see the sort option when Movies is highlighted either. It only appears when the first title is highlighted then you click to the left...

And now that I think about it, I seem to remember you have to have a minimum of something like 50 titles to be able to sort.

Dude... I'm not stupid. I am aware of this. I don't know how specific I have to possibly be to get it through to all of you that clicking left while highlighting my first movie, the one on the top left, in my case Thor: The Dark world, does NOT work. Please everyone give me any other solution besides clicking left. I have the app on my Vizio smart tv and I have the sorting options on there so I know how to access them. But On my Xbox, it. Is. Not. There. The pic I sent was just an example of what it looks like at ALL times no mater where I click left. My app is missing the feature. I am not wrong. Someone just help me fix it already instead of assuming I don't know how to click left.

Did you try using a different XBOX ONE (if applicable) and trying it there?
Are you a member of the Microsoft Insider Program fka Mircosoft Preview Program?
What software version of the XBOX OS is currently installed?

I am not a member of the Microsoft preview program. I have not yet tried a different Xbox One but I may give my password and info to a friend so he can test it out for me. I'll inform everyone with those results later on. I just went in the system settings of my xbox one and it says my "OS version" is 10.0.14393.2152. It also says "No update available"

Perhaps you are reading in the wrong tone? Lol no idea what part came off as rude, simply specifying my problem as clearly as possible. I've said many times that clicking left doesn't work and you still tell me more than once to click left. Then you add those 3 little dots making it obvious you just think I'm dumb or something. Kinda rude to be honest. I'm not sure that kind of smart aleck help is the type of help I'm looking for, but thanks anyway. Would anyone else reading be able to offer any kind of solution?

Didn't Jake answer your question in your other thread? I'm assuming if you add one more movie you'll be able to sort.
