The Fandango at Home Forums are designed to help viewers get the most out of their Fandango at Home experience. Here, Fandango at Home customers may post information, questions, ideas, etc. on the subject of Fandango at Home and Fandango at Home -related issues (home theater, entertainment, etc). Although the primary purpose of these forums is to help Fandango at Home customers with questions and/or problems with their Fandango at Home service, there are also off-topic areas available within the Fandango at Home Forums for users to chat with like-minded people, subject to the limitations below.

Movies Available In HD From Other Providers

    Can you purchase The Time Machine in anything other than SD? Can you watch it in anything other than SD? No? Then it's not HD at Vudu. Vudu will not import an HD purchase of The Time Machine from another MA provider. Vudu is only passing through HDX to MA. Which is great but not what your list is by your own definition.

    Maybe you need to research what "checkmate" means too. We're done here.

    The Time Machine now ports from UV into Vudu as HDX. Which then passes to MA or other connected providers in HD. I can now play the movie in HD on MA. I couldn't before. Checkmate!

    Again, great for you. I said Cobra plays for me in SD despite saying "own HDX" - and it still does as I post this.

    My point was that you're going to have to verify your titles because you didn't. Literally the first movie in your list (The Time Machine) is only SD. Can't be bought, converted, or played in anything but SD. How's that for research?

    As someone who can now convert their movies using M2D to HDX and will port to MA in HD. Now I can play those movies in HD on MA. That is not a meaningless list. Hopefully, they will be playable in HD on Vudu soon.

    Also, Cobra played right away in HDX for me.

    Not accurate. Cobra is playing in HDX is for me. Transfer looks great!

    I posted a similar thing in the 4K thread. It may say you own a title in HDX but that does not mean you can view it in HDX. Cobra and Paparazzi show I own them in HDX but they still play in SD.

    Paparazzi (2004) - Not Playable in HDX yet.
    Outland (1981) - Not Playable in HDX yet.
    The Haunting (1963) - Not Playable in HDX yet.
