Once again, it says 'with instawatch' and it's not.

No different then how Instawatch has usually been. In this case since it's not available for early view purchase the instawatch means you can watch it release date while the disc is in route. I gave up on walmart.com instawatch a long time ago.

Actually it is eligible for early viewing. It's available on digital on 3/21 and wont be on physical until 4/4, two weeks later.

Yes, so if you buy the Instawatch Disc Combo at Walmart you will get the digital copy in your account on 3/21. The rights don't hit your account before you can watch it.

Much how with Vudu Disc + Digital you can't even (pre) order it until the film is watch on Vudu regardless of disc street date.

Sometimes they do. I've had movies added before they are watchable before. They just have a date in place of the watch button. But, IW is so wonky that I wouldn't count on it and unless there is a huge discount (or price mistake you are trying to get lucky with). it's probably best to wait until the digital is available to watch.

This is not true -- they are supposed to appear in your Vudu account immediately, even if you can't watch it yet. They go into your 'Pre-orders' tab. On the day of release they movie from pre-orders into your regular library.

I know that several people bought the instawatch DVD of Office Christmas Party from Walmart's website, and the SD version is currently in their pre-order tab. However, I want the Blu-Ray, not the DVD. Instawatch is working for the DVD but not for the Blu-Ray.

Sadly opening a ticket with Vudu customer service doesn't work anymore. They last few times I opened a ticket over an Instawatch issue, they never responded to the ticket --- two weeks passed without even an acknowledgement from Vudu customer service.

It just seems like one of those titles that Instawatch won't kick in until disc street which for this one is April 4th.

With any luck it's just a rights thing that Vudu can get fixed in a few hours. But I've just seen so many not appear until disc street, and since it's also not showing on D+D that's not making it seem anymore likely to me.

I want it in UHD myself, but not at $30. Wasn't that great.

That would be one thing, but that wouldn't explain why the DVD has been Instawatching for about two weeks now. It's working for the DVD, just not the Blu-ray. It seems more likely that someone over at vudu 's content team hasn't "flipped the switch" to turn on the Insta watch feature

Still no love for Office Christmas Party purchasers of Instawatch Blu-Ray combos I guess.

I can see what "MAY" be the problem. Since these are Instawatch ordered from Wal-Mart that transfer over to Vduu.

I noticed that Walmart has the release date listed as "12/31/2029", yes, 2029. So they have a glitch in the date and there may be others.

                            Physical copy released today.

WM InstaWatch is still not appearing in Vudu yet.

                            Whats the problem?
