Is it "official" if the thread didn't start from one of us?

Yes, because I assumed you were too busy trying to figure out why we still can’t get our Vudu accounts connected to start a forum thread

Well, I guess I will go to bed and wait until they work out all the bugs. Tomorrow should be fun!

I'll ask the important question. Will our UV libraries carry over?

UV movies that are also Movies Anywhere compatible (Warner Bros, Sony, Universal for example) should carry over, yes. Lionsgate and Paramount movies won't, among some other smaller studios that haven't bought into Movies Anywhere yet. You can tell by going to your UV movie's page on Vudu and seeing if both logos appear next to the studio name.

Re: The Official Movies Anywhere Thread

Noticed a couple of things when I set up my MA account this morning.

The free copy of The Lego Movie upgraded to 4K in iTunes, so I take that as a promising sign.

There are definitely holes, my recent digital copy of the Lion King is not showing up, i?m sure there will be others.

Looks like Vudu linking should be fixed by 10am PST

Yes but here?s the problem no one is talking about. Only Vudu movies I have purchased will carry over to Movies Anywhere. Any movie purchased by my UltraViolet members will likely not, although I haven?t verified. And with Movies Anywhere only the Master Account can purchase and I assume redeem titles. So any sub members can only view which is stupid IMO and is likely the big reason Amazon/Google/Apple have signed on to Movies Anywhere and never did with UltraViolet.

What do you think is preventing Paramount from joining in?

My first reaction to MA is that it sucks...royally.

All they did was make things even MORE confusing about where the heck I can find it.

                            1) NO TV SHOWS???

                            2) Not all of my Google Play movies imported over. In fact, only 1 imported over.

                            3) Not all of my Amazon Videos imported over. In fact, only 2 did. The really stupid thing is that I have all 3 of The Librarian movies on Amazon Instant Video, and only 1 imported.

                            4) Of course, Vudu still not working

                            5) I had a copy of Avatar that synced over to Movies Anywhere. BUT....it isn't showing up on Amazon or Google. That one The Librarians movie that synced to MA from Amazon isn't showing up in iTunes. I thought this was supposed to alleviate that issue where some providers carried it and some didn't.

I'm sure it will improve over time..but for now I have to say...why???????

I don't see any benefit to doing it, as it simply made things worse.

I'll just stick to logging into iTunes, Vudu, Amazon, and Google separately..at least that way I know where everything is and where to go to find it

Titles porting over doesn’t happen instantly. With mine it kind of happened in waves. Patience...
