So much for leading the way on 4K. They are also very restrictive by only developing an app that can be used with their own device. Meanwhile, every other retailer offers an app that can be downloaded on practically any streaming device or smart TV. Besides the big three, customers can also use the MA app, Youtube, or FandangoNow to stream their library.

I also don't find their interface to be that impressive unlike many here. The DVD menus where viewers can access bonus features are more like a throwback in this day and age. To be sure, Vudu needs to make more improvements in this area, but having the extras displayed like in MA would be more ideal and more efficient.
Vudu will always be my #1 choice, but now that iTunes on ATV is an option, I get to enjoy the best of both and now I have more options. This is good. After all the MA related bugs and problems get worked out and the rest of the studios join MA, we will be better off IMO. The negative is if UV goes away, we will lose D2D and the UV sharing option. For me, since I've been on Vudu and UV since 2013, I have pretty much used D2D all I needed. But it would stink to lose it for everyone.

And, I don't blame Apple for not allowing free 4K upgrades to movies not purchased on iTunes. Sure, I would like that as a consumer, but it makes business sense to me. I do agree with your point about not being able to purchase UHD on iTunes for movies we already own in HD. That is dumb.
