Alexander: Ultimate Edition just appeared in my account?

First off, definitely not complaining. Always cool to have a free movie magically appear in my account.

I had purchased the regular (theatrical) version of "Alexander" on VUDU many, many moons ago. However, yesterday the "Ultimate Cut" also appeared in my account. It did not replace the other version in my account, it's there in addition to the original.

I didn't own it on any other service previously, so it's not like it would port in via UV or MA. In fact, even though both the regular and ultimate cuts are UV/MA enabled, UV is only showing that I have rights to the theatrical, and MA is only showing I have rights to the the ultimate cut (both services are connected to my VUDU account, so I guess that's how I have access to both versions of the movie)

Anybody have any insight into this? You think this could be a mistake and will soon disappear from my account? or safe to say I own this now?

    Thanks for the help!

I'm showing that it imported from MA. So it must have been acquired from one of your linked MA providers.

Weird! I'm almost positive I didn't buy that movie anywhere else, and certainly not yesterday (which is when it appeared).

It also doesn't explain why the theatrical cut of "Alexander" (also MA enabled) that I purchased on VUDU awhile back isn't showing up in my MA library, or exporting to any other services.

Could it be when the original became MA, it ported over to other services, but ended up giving you the ultimate cut, then when the ultimate cut became MA, it ported back that one into Vudu? Weird how all this works... lol

I'm showing that it has successfully exported to MA.

Nope. Only the Ultimate Cut shows in MA, not the theatrical version.

Yeah, that's what I think probably happened. Very strange!

Again, definitely not complaining about the free Ultimate Cut. I just wish that the theatrical version I paid for would port to MA.
