      VUDU not at CES?

Seems a bit odd to not be present at one of the most prominent venues for showing off a new home entertainment product.

But it shows how great the product is when it receives recognition even though it is not being represented at CES.

Actually, I don't know why it says that. If you look at the Vendor list of Vendors at CES, Vudu is definitely one of them and it lists their locations.

I think this was a misprint.

I'm impressed at your ability to not only admit that you've made a mistake, but to embrace this information with both arms. It shows character. Obviously you don't work for Human Resources purshing a mouse all day and telling everyone else you are always right and never wrong (long insider story about a disgruntled moron)....

Re: CES - VUDU innovation award

Actually, I think Vudu isn't really at CES proper -- they don't have a booth on the show floor but rather a suite at the Venetian. Perhaps, this led to some confusion.

                Ah, very good observation!

I think this is typical for a lot of new companies. They start out small and gradually grow at the show. It's probably more important for Vudu to host and have meetings with the studio execs and other entertainment types than to display their products.

Absolutely correct. I am sure everyone here would rather have Vudu spending money on R&D and licenses than on a flashy booth.

No, but my work does sometimes interact with HR departments. AND I do spend my day telling everyone I'm right. Just kidding... I have my moments.

I feel for HR folks. Glad I'm not in that field.

Makes sense VUDU would have a side area reserved that offers some privacy for negotiations and private meetings. Companies used to rent suites for such things - Wonder if that's still the case.

Eh, I haven't been to a CES show in years.
