Pick From Group Of Movie Posters For Movie Art?

On itunes pc version they say you can pick from 3 movies posters for your thumb art. I heard you can do the same on plex but have not interested in it. Vudu will sometime just change the movie art without warning. Sometimes better and sometimes worse. (that close up screaming chunk art they were using for goonies was awful! Glad they replaced it.)

How about letting us choose from a few choices for the films? Maybe original movie poster and new art?

Plex is something else entirely so not really fair to include them as a point of comparison. If you want to roll your own streaming service with Plex (or Emby or any similar products) you can do pretty much whatever you want.

Custom artwork would be nice but outside of say the Windows 10 Vudu app I don't see this coming to other platforms (Ie Roku) for Vudu. It's such a specific request and benefits such a limited set of users. There are loads and loads of other "functional" things Vudu needs to program in that would benefit a larger number of users over more "cosmetic" requests.

It would be nice if maybe you could pick your cover art on the web and it could then possibly translate to other apps across devices. Just a thought.

If you're running you're own media server like Plex, Emby or otherwise yes, that's something that can be done. Or even as OP states iTunes on a PC. Basically anything where the user is storing the data locally. For 3rd party cloud servers that not likely something we'll ever see. Even high end streaming servers with fully custom interfaces that blow away Apple or Vudu requiring $6-20k streaming boxes don't offer this functionally. The closest thing I can think was when Apple Music started and they let you load your own MP3 files to their servers and they managed it for you, assuming you paid the $10 a month fee and if you canceled they deleted it.

Sure, nice to have. But there are so many other things that people have been asking Vudu for years about that benefit a wider audience.
