    Renegotiate The Device Limit...

Please renegotiate your device limit with the Movie/TV studios to only count devices that will actually download movies. There should be no device limit just like NetFl*x and Pr*me Video for devices that will only be streaming and not downloading any content. Once a device downloads content then count that device towards the device limit. That's a more common-sense approach compared to the current annoying way, having to register/unregister a growing number of various devices is cumbersome at the very least.

The device limit is pretty generous on Vudu. It used to be 8 devices at one time. It was increased by a lot a few years back. I know I have many activated devices on my account and never had an issue with the current device limit.

A device limit seems redundant if the activated device will only be streaming content and not downloading content. All services already have limits on how many devices can stream content at the same time (stream limits), VUDU is generous in that respect but not with the activated device limit. NetFl*x/Pr*me Video don’t seem to care how many devices you activate for streaming it’s just the devices that are downloading content that have a set/known limit.

NetFl*x doesn’t need us to manage our activated devices unless the devices are downloading content, VUDU should use a similar common-sense approach.

“This restriction comes from the movie studios and our agreement with them.” - @FelipeF

That post is over 4 years ago. A lot has changed in regards to devices. Unless your selling access to your account, I don't see why this is even an issue.

And yet still valid, having a list of managed devices is redundant as I stated above if you're not downloading content, and no you don't need to be selling anything to be annoyed by it. I'm glad you're content with VUDU, I on the other hand believe VUDU has a lot more improvements to do but rarely does.
