    Please add custom folders option!

I'd love to be able to create a "Marvel" folder and dump all my Marvel movies into it, one for Pixar, Fast and the Furious, Mission Impossible, et cetera.

I own a lot of movies on digital, and being able to separate them into custom folders by franchise/studio/etc would be a big help.

Yep, so would a lot of people, including myself.

However, this has been asked for dozen of times over the years and nothing even teased that it might be coming.

Can't say I'm surprised. It's pretty common sense and an incredibly useful option. Not sure why they wouldn't just add it. It'd probably encourage people with large collections to add even more, since they'd now have the ability to organize their stuff.

Does Vudu even look at these suggestion threads? This suggestion I made here (that's been made a million times before) seems to be one of the things most wanted by Vudu customers, so why don't they just do it already? What's stopping them? Can anyone from Vudu comment?

"Does Vudu even look at these suggestion threads?"

          I wonder that myself.

Yes, we to read all threads. We do not comment on every thread as noted in the forum guidelines. We would love to implement every feature request our customers ask for but it's not always possible for various reasons. All feature requests are viewed by the developers.

Then please, for the love of all that's holy, let us have customizable filters. It's not outside the realm of possibility when it comes to app programming or web programming. As my collection gets larger and larger (we've spent thousands) it gets harder and harder to find and view movies. I don't want to have to type in a movie title every time I want to watch it, and I don't want to have to scroll through 2000+ movies deciding what to watch. If I could just put all of my horror movies in a folder, all of my marvel movies in a folder, and all of my husband's fight movies in a folder, it would make it far easier.

I remember requesting this years ago, please do this. It would make VUDU one of the top (if not THE top) platforms because none of the others have this either and it's infuriating.

Sadly, this whole subject lends itself to the quality of programmers that WalMart (aka Vudu) hires. This is quite literally a 1 to 2 day fix for any programmer that has more than 5 years experience designing and creating apps. Period.

Being a developer for 30 years (professionally 20), I could add this to their system in less than a day. Unless their system is so bass ackwards that they're too afraid they'd break something trying to institute it.

It's sad really. I've been looking for this feature for almost 6 years now, and the fact that they don't have something so incredibly simple, that almost every other streaming service has, is embarrassing, actually.
