good to know which exact distributors offer which type of definition. I think that was hinted at in an earlier post too.

Yup, I think your right about the upgrade. I'm just lazy and would love for vudu to step it up a little so we don't have to hike down to walmart each time. Also my disk to digital experience was less than pleasant with the walmart staff, so I really don't see myself making any more trips there than I have to.

Yes it is a hassle to go into Walmart and it would be nice to have an easier option.

        Re: UltraViolet FAQ's

I went to Wal-Mart at 5 p.m. Got everything verified, Blu-rays stamped, and paid for the 21 movies. I still don't see the movies showing up on my account (now 8:30 p.m.).

How long does it take for the movies to show up on your Vudu/UV account? It'd be nice if this is also covered in the FAQ.

got your receipt I would go back to walmart.... cause usually my movies are in my account before I even pay for them..... cause they go to one computer add to account...... it prints some barcode thingy then they take that to the register scan it and then I pay... Then they stamp movies.

Walmart had no clue what to do with my receipt. So I called Vudu, they told me to email them the scans of my receipt, and they're working on it. Well, they've been working on it since May 15, and still no update.

                namja,

Can you post your case number, i want to make sure you get taken care of. In some cases we've seen, the checkouts haven't been fully completed, so the movies won't appear in your VUDU account. We're working to correct this and developing a way to push the transaction either way.

                  Re: UltraViolet FAQ's

Went to Walmart's Photocenter today. Paid $32 for 16 Blu-rays to be converted.

It's been 12 hours and I do not see them in my Vudu account.

They admitted it was the first time they'd done it.

They also said I'd get an email "in a few days" telling what to do.

Does any of this sound correct?

Maybe I just need to be patient.

Sounds strange - There is no email "telling what to do". You should get an email receipt but sometimes I did not get one. Email is "Your Disc to Digital receipt" with this info:

                    Type Title Quality

                    1 Blu-Ray Hop HD $ 2.00
                    2 Blu-Ray RocknRolla HD $ 2.00

                    Subtotal:
                    +local sales tax

OK, after 10 days of fiddling around, I finally figured out they mistyped my email. If it would have printed on the receipt, I could have bird-dogged this problem a lot sooner. The email is manually typed in by the associate and a potential stumbling block in this process.

I now have 30 DVD's on Vudu. It's pretty much my favs, so I will only add worthwhile ones from here on out.

On my second round of DVD's, I received the email before I left the Walmart parking lot, logged into Vudu on my iPhone, and voila, they were all there.

                      Case closed on my end.

For others who may run into this problem, the answer to my initial question on this thread ("How long does it take for the disc to digital to show up?") is: nearly immediately.

How do you sync 2 VUDU accounts to 1 UV account?

I only see an "UNLINK" option under "UltraViolet info". Thanks.

So, to link a 2nd Vudu account to my UV account I would have to give my UV login and password to the owner of the other Vudu account?

You can't link 2 vudu accounts to one UV account. As soon as you link the UV account to a second vudu account, the original vudu account is unlinked.

I see. Thanks. Strange -that's opposite of what is posted here. I wonder why this UV FAQ's post states:
