Question about SD to HD...

    Question about SD to HD...

Here's some question for VUDU representatives...

I did 5 movies from Disc to Digital SD/DVD to SD Digital.

My question is, is there anyway I can convert my SD Digital movies to HD Digital?

Can I go to WallMart photo center and have them turn my SD Digital to HD Digital and pay 3 dollars per movie converted?
or is it a one time deal to choose SD or HD when I convert Disc to Digital?

If there is no option of converting your SD digital movies in your collection to HD. I highly suggest that you guys should have this option.

    This is what I think.

-Have an option on the website to convert your SD movies in your collection to HD for 3 dollars, since Disc to Digital is $2 SD and $5 HD.
-Customers would have an option to get SD (Disc to Digita)l for now and convert them to HD later.

    Thanks,

I agree. I'd like to get my movies on the platform first and then upgrade those I like to watch more often to HDX.

I don't think vudu can answer you with this answer as its a service done by Walmart. I was able to get aliens which i bought in sd to hdx by asking them to remove my purchase and then adding it back. If you have a receipt you should be able to get a refund for 2.00 within the time limit. What they did in my case was issue me a gift card for 6.00 which covered the 3 alien movies i bought in sd and they removed it from vudu. I then added it back as hdx. you may want to talk to the walmart person that does the vudu service and explain to them that you may ask for a refund. Its very important to keep your walmart receipts incase they do the wrong movie, send it to the wrong e-mail etc. You should get a receipt with every purchase too. What I've been doing is looking at blu-ray price for movies I know I want in hdx and buy them on ebay or amazon.com or fye at low cost etc. Worst case scenario you have some blu-rays you can give out as christmas presents. I know this was long winded but to answer you, its possible to upgrade from sd but you have to have it completely removed and only wal-mart can do that not vudu from this end.
