The Fandango at Home Forums are designed to help viewers get the most out of their Fandango at Home experience. Here, Fandango at Home customers may post information, questions, ideas, etc. on the subject of Fandango at Home and Fandango at Home -related issues (home theater, entertainment, etc). Although the primary purpose of these forums is to help Fandango at Home customers with questions and/or problems with their Fandango at Home service, there are also off-topic areas available within the Fandango at Home Forums for users to chat with like-minded people, subject to the limitations below.

Vudu/UV Movies not working today.

    Vudu/UV Movies not working today.

    What's wrong today? Myself nor my UVVU Users can't view movies today. When I select Fast Five from uvvu.com then 'Stream Now' link it connects to Vudu website but no button to play movie. All my other UV movies only give options to pay for rental or buy.

    I was able to stream Fast Five Extended edition directly from Vudu.com and linked from uvvu.com.

      I was looking for something that says "PLAY" but all I see if a Green circle with a right pointing arrow under the movie picture. I was looking for a Play button above the movie picture near the "View Trailer" and "+ Wishlist" buttons.

      But I do find it odd that for some movies after clicking "Stream Now" on UVVU.com I get the option to "Rent" or "Own" the movie that I already have an UV copy.

        OK where is the Play Movie button? I thought I got movies to play yesterday but still not working. When I click the "Green Circle Right Arrow" button under the movie picture all I get is the movie trailer?

        How do you play the movies online logging into UVVU.com? Where are the movies - not the trailers?

          Just click on "Watch SD" above the movie poster.

            No Movies for Me?

            OK, here are screen shots I get after logging into UVVU.com and then clicking "Stream Now" taking me to the second screen shot at VUDU.com. How do I play this Movie?



            Vudu is asking me to rent or buy it?

                So you are saying that my five authorized UVVU users also have to log into my Vudu account after they log into the UVVU site?

                  It appears that way. But they should be able to create their own Vudu accounts and link their child UV account to that Vudu account like you can with Flixster? I haven't tried this with Vudu yet so I don't know for fact it works.

                    If that is true then 5 UVVU.com accounts is useless as I'm not giving my VUDU.com login info to 5 users that can buy stuff on my credit card. Nor did I think/know that my 5 UVVU users had to have a separate or their own VUDU accounts to watch my UV movies?

                      Yes each user has to have their own Vudu account unless you want them to have your Vudu login. Unfortunately Vudu only lets you link 2 Vudu accounts to one Ultraviolet account currently but I have not tried to link more than two. Lame, I know.

                        Thanks. I did not know that all 5 of my authorized UVVU users had to have their own separate Vudu accounts. As I said b4 -"Useless".

                        So, how do you give 'limited movie rating' access to a child on UVVU.com if the child needs his own Vudu account which needs to be backed by a credit card? Giving the child my Vudu login info does not limit the movie ratings?

                          UVVU.com lets you enable partenal controls on each child account. Just go to their edit user page and there should be a Parental Controls section which can be enabled.

                          You don't have to give a credit card on Vudu.com signup. It can be skipped. It's only required for renting and purchasing.

                            Thanks. Seems like a lot to do to give parental controls to a kid. Especially since some parents don't give children an email account. I know famillies that have 1 email address and kids don't.

                            I created 3 user accounts on uvvu.com. I will be deleting them as none of them have a Vudu account.

                              I have a total of 6 siblings and 5 of them is in my Uvvu account. Me the oldest and one of my younger sister both use VUDU and the rest of them can only use Flixster or Paramount at the moment until some other streaming starts supporting Ultraviolet movies. As you see it's not all that bad. Google TV has flixster app but not VUDU app and Flixster is still catching up updating their movie selections.

                              All in all since Ultraviolet came out it has nothing but more improvements. I think in the future if everything turns out great for Ultraviolet their would be multiple apps to play Ultraviolet movies and consumers have the option which app they prefer to use.
