These are the 38 movies I have redeemed and the reason I listed it is for people looking to buy movies knowing if they can get a HD copy or not from the ultraviolet.

Note that Awakening and footloose for some reason show up as SD only even thou the rest of the titles were in HD. I hope people can add to the list with movies I don't have to confirm etc

I think the general rule is you get SD with Universal and Warner Bros, and HD with Paramount and Sony.

Now I am trying to decide to either redeem my UV copy of Cowboys and Aliens and get the SD copy or take my Blu-ray to Walmart and get a HDX copy for $2.

Was it from a Blu-ray? I redeemed same title but was from DVD.

Count yourself lucky it shows up at all. It still only shows up on the Paramount website for me. Or did you redeem a vudu code? In that case those always show as SD. The Devil Inside UV code (Best Buy exclusive) is not Vudu eligible per both Paramount and Vudu. Devil Inside still does not show as a UV movie on VUDU (no UV symbol). At least is wasn't a better movie they decided to do this with.

I used the same code twice for "The Devil Inside". First redeemed code at Paramount and it showed up in my uvvu.com account (linked to Paramount and not Vudu) then I used same code on Vudu - it is there also but not linked to uvvu. I wish I could change uvvu link from Paramount to Vudu.

I didn't realize it was good for both. Oh well. It was a free code a friend didn't want so no big loss. It's a weird code though. It shows on paramount as sd only. It's the only paramount code like that.
