What! You got HDX from a DVD UV Code? You should put in a Support Ticket to have it changed to SD. j/k

With my customer service luck it would stay hdx anyway

Seriously though, vudu customer service is miles ahead of the black hole of cs known as Flixster

I think it's pretty obvious that:

            a) The design is that bluray UV codes redeem as HD or HDX and DVD redeems as SD.

            b) The system is obviously new and flawed. The code system doesn't seem as robust and universal as it probably should be. Codes sometimes redeem for the wrong thing depending on where you redeem them.

My point is this: I really don't think studios are intentionally trying to only give SD UV codes with HD. The system is broken. Try to be understanding as the system grows and let them know when there are problems.

Actually, at first Warner was intentionally giving sd codes. They have only recently started giving hdx. Customer service at Warner told me they don't give hd before. That's why none of their early codes give anything but sd.

It was an extra they gave when the movie first launched. Looks like it's still going on since I got both also.

                              Contagion (WB)-HDX
