    Are you serious VUDU?

My husband and I went to do the D2D Friday and it one of the worst experiences. After an hour, we still didnt have the movies and went home without them. If you are going to have this partnership or whatever with Walmart, then you need to make sure that they know how to do it. The lady was clueless and they didnt even have a number to reach VUDU for help. She had to call Fuji to get the number and guess what happened??? NO ONE AT THE VUDU number would answer, so she couldnt get any help. Seriously, you need to at least have a helpline or something for them to use. We spent an hour standing there while she tried to contact you. I mean seriously??? Ridiculous. We enjoy your app and really want to do this, but our experience was awful.

My husband and I decided to try this again Saturday. Guess what? STILL DID NOT WORK. We drove across town to another Walmart (after calling and being told they did it all the time) and when the lady tries to enter the info, it says there is a problem with the account. Our account is just fine. Two different employees tried to help us. The guy even had me log into our account on vudu to see if he could see a problem. Guess what? There was no problem with my account. I called VUDU when we got home. She pulled up our account and said nothing was wrong but she would investigate it and call us back in about 15-30 minutes. lets see.....that was 13 1/2 hrs ago. REALLY???? Once again, we enjoy using VUDU but the last couple of days it has done nothing but cause us problems and frustration. HELP

    Hi,

I'm not an expert or anything but maybe I can share my experience to help you out. Some of the info. perhaps you already know but I'll go through everything I know. First and foremost the number to call for VUDU help is 1-408-492-1010.
You can find it at every page on the website at the bottom left under Contact US.

There are many things that can go wrong with D2D when the associate puts in your info. Specially, If they never had done it. It is very important that you bring along the printed D2D list because it says your email and number on the paper. Without it, the associate could have a typo. The site they use to put in your info is also case sensitive. They should have a binder of instruction on how to do D2D.

If there is nothing wrong with your account then I believe the wallmart associates just dont know what they are doing. =(

There is a toll-free number for Vudu as well but I don't have it here at work. When I get home I'll post it here. I don't know why Vudu stopped advertising their toll-free number? It seems that they should be able to afford the phone calls?

For some reason if you put in both a phone number and e-mail it will not pull up your account. Tell the associate to type in only the e-mail and it will work. I don't know why they haven't fixed this yet.

ditto that. I always have to tell them to only use my email address ONLY. My first attempt did not work because of Walmart Associate putting in both.

That might be the issue the associate was having why the associate cant access your account. lol

Happened to me as well. I have no idea why it even has a section for a phone number if it doesn't work right and an e-mail is all you need.

But as far as OP goes, I feel your pain. I've been taking my business to a walmart 25 minutes away since the one near my house doesn't seem to quite know what to do. Sometimes, the customer has to train the employee, which is what I eventually had to do. I went there, told them to ONLY put in my e-mail, explained the whole up-conversion thing, explained the computer working part (which is not complicated at all), and it worked fine. I agree that their lack of training is ridiculous, but what I don't get is the amount of confusion for such a straight forward process. Ah well. Good luck all the same

So funny, I did the same to the WallMart near my house but I did more than that. I went there once or twice a week and every week a new employee learns how to D2D. Now, I know about a Dozen who knows how to D2D there. Today, I went there again and asked how often do they get D2D customers and they told me atleast once a day. They actually have a folder just for me there lol. Most problems occur because of a typo. Make sure they put in your information the way its supposed to be.
