Seems like all the posts I've seen on various sites knocking UV has a lot to do with iTunes and the copies not being portable. Maybe doing something like this will finally end all that talk.

Of course, if these people just did a little reading on UV, they'd realize you can download copies and import them anyway. But that's not what this thread is about, so I'll let it go

Hopefully it is. It looks like you can get both Itunes and UV based on that. Those are the best codes.

I think HD Report was just pulling what Amazon said. Neither the movie's site nor the Lionsgate press release about the BR and DVD releases mention UV (they just call it regular "Digital Copy").

Could still really be their first UV title, but I'm skeptical. We'll see.

I beleive that Hunger Games will be UVenabled, and there are multiple sites confirming it, including HD Report.

The website for the movie doesn't mention UV.

Bummer. I have some Lionsgate movies I'd like to add to D2D. And I'd certainly like UV copies going forward.

According to the Hunger Games page on blu-ray.com, it's just a regular Digital Copy. And I imagine if Lionsgate was launching UV support in next 3 weeks, they would have announced it to the press by now.

I hate to bust your bubble but Amazon tends to put Ultraviolet on some of the Lionsgate or 20th Century Fox movies.

Here's a link I use, to tell me If a movie is Ultraviolet enabled or not and the release dates.

    http://www.blu-ray.com/movies/movies...ingsoon&page=6

The ones that has Ultraviolet would say UV Digital Copy under the title.

Probably a good movie to start with.
