Journey 2 seems to be always SD no matter where it's redeemed.

When I redeemed Friends With Benefits, I got HDX on VUDU, which I did not expect. So I've had pretty good luck with Sony so far.

No. It's hit or miss with them, but most of their movies come out SD.

I redeemed Wrath of the Titans from my Blu Ray through the Vudu page and it came out SD. I haven't heard about anybody getting Wrath in HDX, but some people got Sherlock Holmes 2 and Project X in HDX.

That is messed up as Paramount was always giving HD UV for Blu-ray purchases in the beginning. It even said on the back of the packaging that the UV copy is HD (check the back of MI and Footloose in tiny print, they should say the UV copy is HD, at least they did when they came out) but newer movies like "Jeff Who lives at home" and "A thousand words" don't specify a resolution on the back anymore. Its like they are backpedaling and I don't like it. Until the studios get their act together on this I will see UV as primarily a mobile solution.
